Alice laughed, "There's no use trying," she said, "one can't believe impossible things."
"I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half-an-hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast."

A millipede (Ommatoiulus rutilans) hugging a dead flower.
The photo was taken using an external flash triggered remotely and manually configured to 1/32.
This image of what, at first sight, appears to be a leafy pathway through a hedge, was created by splicing together a picture of a fence in Linn Park in Glasgow with its mirror image.

I will not be another flower, picked for my beauty and left to die.
I will be wild, difficult to find, and impossible to forget.

I can't remember what these things are, besides sharp. I think they look better "dead" than blooming though. Happy Sunday all.

Larry & Rebecca dreamt of having Disneyland all to themselves and watching a private showing of Magical from Main St. With a camera, a lot of patience, cooperative security guards and little help from Photoshop, we made it happen.
Day started out Sunny and not too hot, so the camera and I went out to work. By the time the clouds had rolled in and the wind picked up I had shot 750 images. When I got home I started the process of winnowing out the duds. As soon as I found this shot, I HAD to get it uploaded right away. Sometimes a photograph just grabs you, and this one did me.
Hope you like it too.

"remember how it used to be
when the sun would fill up the sky
remember how we used to feel
those days would never end
those days would never end
remember how it used to be
when the stars would fill the sky
remember how we used to dream
those nights would never end
those nights would never end
it was the sweetness of your skin
it was the hope of all we might have been
that fills me with the hope to wish
impossible things
but now the sun shines cold
and all the sky is grey
the stars are dimmed by clouds and tears
and all i wish
is gone away
all i wish
is gone away
all i wish
is gone away"

If you believe in your dreams strong enough, the impossible becomes possible. One year ago, I was wondering if I would be able to dance again. I am still working hard and have moments of doubts, but on Saturday I danced on stage again and it felt wonderful.
(This is not my group, obviously, since I cannot take pictures of my own group while dancing!)
This is my 12:12 Men instant photo project entry for June, done on my theme of Doppelganger, with the marvelous Candace 'Wenchi' Simmons
