As promised one of the other 2 members of the Justice League from Earth 2 that I have made. Doctor Impossible aka Jimmy/James Olsen. He doesn’t have an equivalent to the core Justice League of Earth 1 and speaking of Core Justice League I might try to take a crack at Fury. Wonder Woman’s daughter from Earth 2 Donna of Amazon Island. Then I’ll have an earth 2 version of the entire DC holy trinity.

As of now, I dub yesterday, the 22nd of March, to be now know as Impossible Day!
This is in honour of the Impossible Project and all they have done to bring instant film back to life.
When I was walking around yesterday, elated after having just read all about the press conference, I came across this sign outside the library. Some how, it felt very fitting.
"The words don't fit the picture"
The words being how everyone said that instant film was dead, and the picture being the truth, that it is not and it is in fact thriving. Hurray!

I'm listening to an album called 'Impossibly Beautiful' by 'Note for a Child' and thought the title was apt for this lovely flower.
Il arrive qu'on veuille faire une image et que le résultat soit complètement différent de l'idée de base !
Sometimes you want to make an image and the result is completely different from the basic idea!

When I took this picture, I had slipped and landed on my back, and I as I laid there in disbelief and in pain, I realized that my eyes were witnessing one of the most beautiful scenes I’ll ever see in my life. I didn’t get up, I laid there and stared up. I decided to snap the shot in that instant. This photo is so bizarre and violates the standard of how trees should be captured in a photograph. The trees seem as if they are growing from the sky. We don’t see the floor or the area where the trees are planted, this leaves an ambiguity of formation and direction. The more I stare at this photograph, the more I become “lost” in its own mystery. Something about this photo does not seem right, of course we know it’s the direction of the trees, but I think there is more to the photograph than just the complex direction of the trees.
I appreciate your comments, opinions, critiques, and perspectives :)
If the colours in this look a bit impossible, maybe I've got it about right. The light of the setting sun on the grass and the dark deep blue reflection of a lighter deep blue sky produced this combination. I just had to take the shot. Taken at Cray, Wharfedale.
A story:
Mute Swans are called that because they make no noise. The 'legend' is that they are quiet their whole lives, until, knowing they are dying, they let out one plaintive cry...then expire. Neat story...not so true.
Watching these young ones frolicking around in the water, mama Mute was swimming on her own, also enjoying the splash. When she'd had enough though, and wanted the tykes back with her, she made noise. She barked like a small house dog...high pitched, and only one bark at a time. Very strong bark, though, and the kiddees somehow knew what it meant, for the all hightailed it back to her.
Quiet most of the time, perhaps, but not when tending the babies is concerned.
Testing out my first pack of PX70 COOL film! I'm loving every aspect of it!

A-Z Challenge 2.0: H - Headshot
Theme Rules:
Casting time! A headshot photograph is an integral piece of an aspiring actor's or model's portfolio. For this theme, give us your doll's best headshot, a photograph consisting entirely of the doll's face or his/her shoulders/face. Keep accessories and backgrounds simple so the beauty or unique traits of your doll's face/expression are the focus of the photograph. Consider straight-on glances toward the camera, side view angles, or over the shoulder shots for this theme.
About this photo:
I know there’s a huge public debate in the US about gun violence and firearms accessibility due to many recent tragic events. It’s truly shocking to me that events like mass school shootings occur and even when I’m trying to stay away from media outlets with this many negative information and reports of the very poor state of the world in general, it’s impossible to avoid them completely. And it resonate, just can’t seem to disappear from my head.
I know our hobby is a peaceful place, a state of mind that should bring us joy and fulfillment only, but I thought I needed to take a stand with my entry for this theme, to maybe provoke thinking, give my opinion. I needed to process those thoughts and take it out of my system. I didn’t want to be grim or to shock just because sake of shocking.
I took an inspiration from the memorable historic events from 1963 when the President John Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas during his and First Lady's, Jacqueline Kennedy car ride. I also had in mind „Jackie” movie with striking creation from brilliant Natalie Portman and it really made a huge impression on me and left me speechless.
Due to the discussion in the media about Rambo being a pilot, biker or ninja, Hollywood invited him to be an actor! This is the poster of his first movie!
I don't really use to photoshop my pictures, but come on! It's not every day that one of your cats gets an invitation like that! =P
Hope you enjoyed the poster!
Have a wonderful Sunday, friends!
