The Imax Cinema. I explored the banks of the Clyde this morning in dull and rainy weather. There is much wonderful architecture in the area which I hope to photograph again one day in more favourable conditions. I will be uploading the photographs that I took today over the next few days. I think that most of them will look best in black and white.
BFI Imax Cinema, Waterloo, London. Designed by Brian Avery and opened in 1999, the Imax is located on a busy roundabout on Waterloo Road. The entrance is sunk to below ground level and it is linked by pedestrian subways to the streets above. It seats 485 on a single raked tier and has a 26 mtrs by 20 mtrs screen. It is threatened with redevelopment.

This is me in 'The Bridge to Nowhere' a movie that me, my boyfriend, and my brother all worked on a few summers ago. We just had the premiere at the Imax theatre in Atlantic City in May. I took this picture during that showing.

這是二年半前的文章，當然有些部分現在已不一樣了，文章裡的看法也是二年前的想法。B6也是我第一台充電器，後來入手880DS到現在的iCharger 308DUO. 最近在準備鋰鐵加308DUO的使用分享文章。
B6AC充電器使用及電池管理

以下為2011年年初以充 Blade SR 的3S 1000電池為考量
電池的充電管理, 對於玩直昇機來也是很重要的一件事.因為 LiPO電池對電壓特別敏感, 不能過放,也不能過充.長時間不用還要儲存在特定電壓. 另外像 Blade SR使用的是 1000mA 11.1 V 3S 20C 的電池.它是內建三顆LiPO電池, 所以在充電時, 還要確保三顆電池的充電量及電壓都要維持一樣才行. 所以大部分都會透過 Balance Tap 來監控每個Cell的電壓,過高就放的平衡充方式。
原廠的充電器,並無法做到細緻的電源管理。所以我在考量成本及功能下, 入手了B6AC充電器. 雖然是大陸廠商, 但它的做工在直昇機界也小有名氣. 當然同樣的在市面上仿冒品也很多。所以它在機背有雷射標籤外, 還有一組刮刮樂序號. 刮掉後, 可以利用二組號碼至官方網站驗證是否為真品^^
B6AC 可以充很多種類電池,如 LiFe, LiPO, MiH 等等.在充 LiPO電池時,可以檢查每個電池目前的電壓,以及目前總充電量到多少。長時間不用的話,也可以用"儲存模式"進行充電, LiPO 電池如不用, 約充在 3.82V左右才行. 充飽也不能超過 4.2V。所以透過B6AC的程式化控管, 便可以精準的管理 LiPO電池的充電。
以下為考量充 450 Sport 的 3S 2200 Lipo為考量
B6 充電器功能簡介
Charge:一般充。
Balance:平衡充。
Fast CHG:快充。
Storage:充至保存電壓。
Discharge: 放電。

開始用3S Lipo，要開始注意電壓管理。3S代表它有三片 Lipo串聯，每片電壓在規格上是3.7,所以是11.1V. 以下電壓都針對單片（Cell）。平常充飽應為4.2V,Lipo最怕過放(低於3.7),或長時間高電壓保存（4.x)。所以平常是要飛的前一晚或當天充飽，飛行時間控制在下來約有3.8V左右。最低於也不要低於3.75V. (現在我都控制在下來3.8V)
B6充電建議用 Balance充，因為它有3Cell,b6充電從電池粗的線路充進去，那如何確保3Cell都是4.2?平衡充同時要把平衡線（電池上白色有很多條線那端）來監控每cell電壓，高了就放，低了就充，這樣充好，3Cell才會都是4.2V. (B6後來不用主因也是會過充)
超過三天以上不飛，電池議電壓維持在3.85左右，所以B6才有保存模式，可充放到3.8自動停。所以B6在充時要選電壓，截止容量可設定在2200mha,截止時間可設在110分鐘。因為用它的保存電壓功能會放到3.8才停，加上110分鐘限制，可自動停，如果是充飽電池約在3.83佔剛好，而平常飛在3.8充也約30-35分鐘，也不會到110分鐘. (這也是B6後來不用的原因,無法自已設保存電壓)
1C代表電池的容量，所以2200mha 1C是2.2A. 3.3A就是1.5C.電池上標的C是指電池最大的放電能力。2200mha 11.1V 8C 代表它是3S(11.1/3.7=3),而它最大放電量為 2.2Ax8=17.6A.這表示這電池在 七分半內會全放光（60分鐘／8=7.5).
所以放電能力強（C數大）的電池在供電力及品質上都較好也不會易發熱。就好像大馬力車較小馬力車好開是一樣的。所以 2200mha 11.1V 20C電池，最大供電力為 2.2x20=44A.而450航道都在20A,所以夠，未來如灰3D,電流㑹到30A瞬間。20A就有點＂重拖＂，這時40C就較適合。
像飛航道控制在3.8V， 450級約可5：30至6：00左右。同樣下來都是3.8V,但20C電池在4：30開始明顯出力下降而使轉速有點下降，但40C就可維持一定出力到最後。不過20C對大部分都夠用了，20C我拿來翻也很好用。
未來 如用6S電池建議都買40C以上，因為一批電池蕊做下來，好的就去做高C數電池，一般的就做低C數電池。所以電池一直維持高出力較易老化。適當的放電能力（C數）除為了要提供足夠的出力，也是延長電池壽命外，也可買到品質較好的電池蕊。
所以良好的電池管理也很重要，不過放，想多飛就多買幾顆。不要每顆多飛1分鐘反而降低電池壽命。所以之前有分享那電池量測器是值得投資的工具。沒管理好，電池一下就掛了。電池很貴，像600E Pro,用二顆 6S3300 40C亞拓電池，一顆就要2350，壞了就損失大了。
Worked hard on the processing on this one to remove the orange skies and made the skies black using masks and burning shadows and quite liked the effect. Still not quite there but learning all the time. Best viewed on black.
Any feedback on the darkened skies appreciated. I could of taken longer over this but more of an experiement in processing but if it works will do it properly next time.
This is the IMAX 3D at "Broadway at the Beach."
Apparently the day that I was there was their first day open - which I thought was really odd since it was a Tuesday - and other than going up to the ticket window and buying a ticket, there was absolutely no advertisement or signs saying that this was opening day.
Ticket price is normally $10.00 per show - but on this day it was a mere $3.00! Back when we thought that it was $10.00, we found a coupon that brought the price down to $8.50. Kevin and I were the only ones from my group that wanted to go at that price, so we went to see the 9:00 Deep Sea 3D showing. We were obviously both quite surprised when we found out that tickets only cost $3 that day!
So when the time came, we went back again (this time with Sarge and Stafford) to see the 10:00 Sharks 3D presentation.
Of the two, I'd say that I liked the Deep Sea 3D show better. The camera work was absolutely stunning! Both shows had great camerawork (especially underwater!), but the Deep Sea one had (IMO) better.

Okay, so it's a 35mm blow-up to IMAX. I was a little disappointed about that, but it's a more interesting frame than some of the other's I've seen. This was scanned with my V700 and the colors were matched to the original film. So for those of you who are curious, this is what a high resolution scan of a 35mm blow up to IMAX looks like. The color depth isn't quite there, as evidenced by the banding in the out of focus areas, and the grain looks sharper on the original, but this is pretty close. Enjoy.
