I was doing a lot of experimenting and didn't make note of the style
That clear water looks so inviting but it probably is pretty chilly.
I revisited the easel at Missing Melody... what a perfect early Autumn atmosphere.

Many thanks to all who take the time to visit!
last of these for a while - taking the time to see what form of social media I really want to keep up with. I have wordpress site that I really should start - they all take up so much time - investing in one at the expense of time spent taking photos

Een imaginair landschap bestaande uit Haagse strand, en duin-elementen, o.a. het Rode Huis naast De Vloek in Scheveningen.
Winter persists in RL... but I recognise even the tiniest signs of Spring approaching in whatever life. A pink cloud, a more-than-usually-green ivy leaf, a tiny Helleborus flower bravely challenging the snow...?
The picture was taken at Lemon Beach/Ponto Cabana.

Today I accidentally came across a small print of this painting and searched to see if it had been added to my flickr offerings. It had, back in 2009. It was not a very good image. So I took the original and worked on it using Snapseed’s various tools. The result is much closer to what I recall creating.
The painting is 8 x 36 inches, Griffin Alkyds on canvas. The white border was added by me. Enjoy!
Blended Wombo images

Thank you in advance for all your views, faves and comments!
another of my favourite chemigrams. I'm not missing my normal life too much - I think that says a lot... my stress levels have dropped considerably. I have been going into work as I use 5 rather large machines so cannot work from home. But - no co-workers and no customers... I've caught up completely and am getting a lot of annoying jobs done. The only thing I miss are two of my children ( the middle is still at home) and my friends and getting out and about.
I've had a couple of really productive evenings in the darkroom - if nothing else relaxing, playing and thinking of exhibition ideas ..
This is black and white paper - developer and fixer - I hate resists in chemigrams, they're far too messy and screw up the chemistry too quickly.
This page demonstrations why fine point pens are problematic for this artist. I just tighten up like crazy when a medium invites it. This scene borrows a lot from artworks I was creating around fifteen or so years back. The tank was inspired by artist Stephen Jeffrey of Great Britain. He’s been a favorite of mine for a very long time. The copse of trees pays homage to flickr artist pirlouit72. A pen & ink drawing of his just knocked me out! The image below is a link to this drawing.
Okay, I’ve got to confess a couple of things. First, when I began this drawing I had no idea of where it would end up. Second, I had to patch the middle right area TWICE! I screwed it up two times. Finally I replaced the auto with the tank. A few artifacts of the patch are at the far right. I wasn’t able to completely erase these problems.
This is a SketchClub digital artwork that overlays my recent physical pencil sketch. While I am fairly happy with this result, a lot of learning was going on while I worked on it. I’ve been working on a long series of artworks under the title of “Going in Circles.” This is the latest. Enjoy.

This island doesn't exist at all, I just created one by matching two polaroids together. I've always loved the idea of imaginary landscape.
As I'm talking about lands, I'm very happy to let you know that one of my pictures was used for The Wasteland Issue
