Autumn in Melbourne is always beautiful, with many wonderful deciduous trees full of colour throughout the city, like these maple leaves on a tree in the inner suburb of Fitzroy, which are quickly gaining the rich gold, orange and red tones of the season.

It seems that Melbourne is destined for an early and gloriously colourful autumnal blaze of colour this year, following a shorter and wetter than usual summer. I love this time of year for not only are Autumnal colours are starting to appear, but there are still plenty of beautiful blooms about.

One of my neighbours showng their Christmas spirit by lighting up one their trees,

It was the last sun of the day. Its fiery rays beautifully illuminated the bridge. It only takes on this color then.

This is an opportunity to admire more closely the excellent state of conservation of Saint-Laurent's bridge, despite its venerable age (11th century). Maintenance works are regularly scheduled there.

Tune....♪

Sunlight comes creepin' in

Illuminates our skin

We watched the day go by

Stories of what we did

It made me think of you

*

Under a trillion stars

We danced on top of cars

Took pictures of the stage

So far from where we are

Oh, lights go down

In the moment, we're lost and found

I just wanna be by your side

If these wings could fly

For the rest of ours lives ...

This is an ICM I took at the Lonsdale Quay pier in the fog. I've never seen the lights on before, so that was an added bonus.

The Aare Gorge is a section of the river Aare that carves through a limestone ridge near the town of Meiringen, in the Bernese Oberland region of Switzerland. The gorge is an indirect product of glaciation; 10,000 years ago, just as the Ice Age was coming to an end, torrential runoff water from melting glaciers eroded a deep, narrow chasm through the limestone barrier. Although barely 2 kilometres (1 mi) long, this passage is bordered by sheer cliffs up to 50 m (160 ft) high on either side. The gorge varies in width from some 30 metres (98 ft) at its widest to just 1 metre (3 ft 3 in) at its narrowest. Visitors can walk the gorge on footbridges and through tunnels.

I was busy shooting the shots of the peak and I turned around (always turn around) and look what was behind me. What a gorgeous scene when the sun peaked between the low clouds and lit up the mountain like a spotlight!! Vlog Below....

Too many people make the Spiritual mistake of considering "light" as truth and assume the being as the wholeness of all things, yet even basic esotericism will anoint this aspect of illusion that, light is a lie and the truth is the vibration as the to the level of one's own comprehension of perception.

"Lord of Light" is in fact Satan, the deceiver, illumination is not light, it is understanding, something the Gnostics wrote about before the Catholic Church ordered the Knights Templar to exterminate them, to keep this information covered up in favour of their own Biblical BS.

Once you gain this knowledge, the universe is of what one can perceive, beyond the five sense realm of physical reality, hence how we alone can decide reality for ourselves. Humanity is becoming slowly more spiritual, I alone along this canal where I took this photo have experienced Shadow People, Ghosts and a momentary time slip, which I theorise to being an experience of reality encoding via perception's ability assorting itself, for another words, what keeps us imprisoned is slowly and thankfully losing its grip, if only to allow yourself to see it!

So........... with that said I hope everyone is well and so as always, thank you! :)

Today the snow came at last. One whole centimeter :) This photo is from the beginning of last year. The light that illuminates the trees comes from the moon. It is taken in the Glaskogen nature reservation outside Arvika in Sweden.

Right after sunrise the fog is drifting through the woodlands of The Valley Wehlgrund in the Saxonian Switzerland. The birches with their autumn leafs are shining golden in the light of the low hanging morning sun.

The apple tree stood tall and proud, surrounded by a thick mist that seemed to envelope the entire forest. Despite the gloomy surroundings, the tree was filled with hope and longing for the coming of spring. And then, just as the first rays of sun broke through the clouds, the tree was bathed in a warm and golden light. It was as if the sun was speaking directly to the tree, reminding it of the joys and beauty of spring. The mist began to dissipate, and the tree could feel the sun's rays on its branches and leaves. It was a moment of pure bliss for the apple tree, who had been dreaming of spring for what felt like an eternity. And as the sun rose higher in the sky, the tree stood proud and resolute, basking in the beauty of the moment and the promise of a new season to come.

Illuminated is a macro photograph of a tulip in vertical format. it is a part of a series.

Although the petals of the tulip look completely blown out, they actually contain many shades of very pale blue and yellow!
