Interestingly, the project with the Любитель-166 camera turned out not so bad. But it was difficult. Framing on a TLR camera is a pain! )) And I really had to use a laser rangefinder, because absolutely nothing sensible is visible through the focusing magnifier. ))

 

I really liked this film, its contrast and grain size were exactly what I wanted. Apparently, I will have to think about buying a "real" medium format camera.

Vier mal mit der Fähre übers Meer, vier mal mit dem Bus durch Lolland, zwei weite Zugfahrten, zwei Übernachtungen in billigen Hotels und endlose Kilometer zu Fuß gegangen. Zwei Stunden auf den Zug zu warten der kommt oder nicht kommt ist eine Kunst. Und auf nichts zu warten ist auch eine Kunst die ich lerne zu beherrschen. (Samuell Bekett hat das so eindrucksvoll in seinem Roman Molloy erörtert).

Schließlich lande ich an Orten, die auf dem ersten Blick öde und verloren scheinen. Man muss das aushalten können. Ich bin süchtig nach diesen Orten. Vielleicht spiegelt es mein innerstes wieder. Ich frage mich selten warum und wieso ich das für ein paar seltsame körnige Fotos tue. Meine Fotos entlarfen nichts. Keine Geheimnisse und Verschlüsselungen. Istzustand…

Four times by ferry across the sea, four times by bus through Lolland, two long train rides, two nights in cheap hotels and endless kilometers walked.
