We crossed the Brahmaputra twice on our trip to Assam recently but unfortunately both times the sun was very high in the sky.The second time Idecided to go ahead with this shot.The river is so broad here(approx 3.3 kms) I found it impossible to capture it in full.
The River Brahmaputra originates in the Angsi Glacier in the northern side of the Himalayas in Tibet and flows through Tibet,India and Bangladesh.It is 2900 kms long.It is the 29th longest river in the world and the 10th largest in terms of drainage area.In Bangladesh it flows into the Padma River (as the Ganges is known there).Unlike most Indian rivers with female names the Brahmaputra has a male name meaning-the son of Lord Brahma.

As it was quite a bit cooler today idecided to spend sometime baking and restocking the freezer there fore we didn't go anywhere other than into the garden. Still there was lots out there to entertain us
I Found this gem of a location about 10 minutes from my house I had originally taken this as a test shot when I found it but liked this one so Idecided to work on it!, The meta data is there for all to see but the setup process was as follows.
, nikon d80, set on timer lens set to 20mm or there abouts nikon sb800 set to the side to bring out the wall on the right of the falls I tweeked the hue and saturation on the yellows and browns both to minus figures until I achieved a more autumnal look added some falling leaves softened the image and cropped it.
I think i ended with a total of around 14 layers before flatening! oh yea although i took a tripod this shot was rested on a wall and the lens supported with some polystyrene i found on the floor!
Idecided to solely focus on the visual contrast between pure studs and pure tiles. The rocks are a hit out of place, they were added to add more color balance to the palette of the build. Full MOC video on my YouTube channel. Go check if out! youtu.be/iNgxvpdXZZw
I often drive past a flower field. A view weeks ago when I drove home from work I saw those Zinnias on the field so Idecided to make a few flower pictures. I shot the pictures with my sigma 85mm 1,4 it's very nice lens with a beautiful bokeh and sharpness

The one coloured photo I'mk posting wasw taken from our port hole and was terribly dark to start with. I tried it in B&W but Idecided that I liked the coloured version better in this instance. Anyway, that meant I'm posting a little bit of colour after all.

After almost six months Idecided to upload a picture!!!
These last few months have been a bit hard because I completely lost the push to fold again. It wasn't very nice, but I understood how much origami is a part of me and of my life and that I can't live without it. I choose to post this model because it has a precise meaning with what I'm doing at the moment... I'm planning to shoot a stop motion short film and this rose is the central part (I'll post a link when it will be ready in September).

I've just arrived home and decided to post some of the photos I'd already taken away with me after I'd procvessed them.
These aren't as good as they might have been but I decided that I wanted to post some in B&W. As a result, I've converted the smaller files rather than going back to the RAW files on the computer I left at home.
The one coloured photo I'mk posting wasw taken from our port hole and was terribly dark to start with. I tried it in B&W but Idecided that I liked the coloured version better in this instance. Anyway, that meant I'm posting a little bit of colour after all.
This is a figure that I have wanted to do for a while now. I loved the first Blade movie with Wesley Snipes so idecided to make the figure based off of his outfit in the first movie. Although it doesn't change much throughout the trilogy, I think I was able to get a quite noticable desing with his vest.

i have dyed my hair so much as to well i pretty much fried it so idecided to cut it short still getting used to it but it feels so much more healthy this is the shortest i have had since i was maybe 6 years old. i do miss my long hair but it will grow back in like three years (hair grows extremly slow and since its curly well that doesnt help either.

While wandering at night during the blue hour trying to capture light trails, i bumped into this magnificent building. I didn't know what it was at first as it looked quite different from the surrounding buildings. It looked quite pretty with its light orange façade glowing so idecided to include it in my light trail shots and , hey, it turned out well! When i got back home, i googled earth this location and found out that it is the Swedish House of Nobility.
This shot was taken around 11.00 at night and look at the horizon, it was still bright! Interesting isn't it.
Located near Riddarholmen church in Stockholm's old town, this building is the Swedish House of Nobility and according to Wikipedia, it maintains records and act as an interest group on behalf of the Swedish nobility with the main purpose to maintain old traditions and culture.

Finally I am rested and feeling like new, been all day at home, didn't even look at the sun today... actually don't recall seeing day light!! O_O!
I am about to go out, but it's night time already... ^.^ and the sun nowhere to be seen.
for the last days has been really crazy for me, work has been exahusting and long hours... but finally got this weekend to truly enjoy it.
I wasn't going to include my head on this shot, just 'cause the title says "Loosing my mind" but the photograph was looking kinda empty without it... so Idecided to create a frame from the wood floor...
The fun part was trying to keep my legs up in the air while shooting this, I had to try 10 different poses, until finally this one made the cut.
Let's see what will come to my mind next... but I think next time I will have to go out from home to try something new...

i woke up on time at 0330am this morning with the intent of taking sunrise shots...the problem was i fell back asleep as soon as i turned off my alarm clock....when i opened my eyes, it was 0500am and had to hurry up but kind of knew that it was too late so idecided to head out to Chicago Botanic Gardens again and spent quite some time following this bee around just to get a decent shot....you won't believe how many shots i took and erased....i wanted a hovering shot but failed...this one is pretty close as he is about to lift off and hover....LMAO!!!!! pls. EDM1 Draw a shoe ! I had great fun with this one. It's Saturday so I had time to spend on the drawing. A patent black, fairly high heel work shoe, but it has a really solid grip underneath so I can wear it comfortably. Idecided to go for a more formal look for the style of this page

These controllers are what I added to the stock machine. On the left you can see two identical PID temperature controllers. What these do is control the heater by determining when to activate the solid state relay that is connected to the PID. When the PID requires the heater to be turned on it energizes the solid state relay (a switch controlled by another protocol...in this case the PID) and it completes the ac circuit to the heaters. These PIDs are accurate to the nearest 1 degree Fahrenheit which is an extreme improvement compared to the stock thermostat. Since this is a dual boiler espresso machine Idecided to use one PID for the brew boiler and the other PID for the steam boiler.
The controller on the right is a digital timer. It basically energizes the built in relay once it is turned on for any duration you set it to. It switches any appliance (ac or dc). I used this for the pump as I would like my espressos to be poured at 26 seconds every time without the need for counting in my head.

This is Rui, a cool kid who's the son of a friend of mine. He's very keen on learning photography so, on the last Saturday, I gave him some quick lessons. In fact I took this shot while I was trying to explain to him the effect caused by a large aperture on the depth of field.
Since the kid has a strong look Idecided to post it.
Maybe he turns into a famous photographer someday. :)
I need to calibrate my monitor, so I'm not sure if this is ok or slightly overexposed...
