stay well everyone :)

I wanted to share it tomorrow, but I couldn't wait.

I had the idea for months, but for some reason I never took the photo until now. This was taken at 6AM and I was actually dying from sleep. Usually I don't mind getting up early (it's more, I always get up early, even on weekends, which can be quiet annoying) but precisely that day I stayed until 2AM reading.

This is my street. Cunit doeesn't have a lot of inhabitants, but it's pretty big because they are almost all houses and not blocks of flats. So it has lots of streets too. But this is the most beautiful I've seen so far. You can't see it in the photo, but at the end there are three or four very tall pines that creates a natural arch. It's like passing through some kind of gate.

I don't know if some of neighbours saw me, but I prefer not to know. It would have been funny to see me in pyjamas, barefoot, holding a pillow and standing in the middle of the street.

I hope they won't start treating me like a mentally ill person....

The idea is far from original, but I wanted to contribute with mine too. Sopranosflight recent blue hour photos probably pushed me to finally take the picture.

A young lady from Brazil drawn in London perhaps with her mind wandering back to her life with her family and friends, perhaps boyfriend, while posing for a life drawing class earning for herself some extra pennies for her extended trip to a land far up north and so far away from the life she once new. Or, perhaps she was thinking “how much longer to go before I get my break and some refreshments”. Over the years I have joined classes and drawn so many models and I can not start to wonder their thoughts and mindset as they pose. Once, a long long time ago in my late teens, I sat as a model for a portrait class. It’s so long ago I haven’t the faintest idea of what went through my mind as I sat there.

So I've decided to start a new collection of little scenes based on the kings and queens of Scotland. I spend a lot of of time building big models, so the idea is to give myself something to do that's generally quick, fun and easy. I'm inspired by James Pegrum's series on the kings and queens of England, which I think are a really neat way of covering a county's history.

So first up is the apparent first King of Scots, Kenneth MacAlpin, who reigned between 843 and 858. Describing Kenneth’s life is difficult because so much is wrapped up in myth and revision, however all subsequent Scottish monarchs claimed descent from him and as such, the current British monarch, Queen Elizabeth II is descended from him through Malcolm III, Robert the Bruce and James VI and I.

In 839 a succession crisis rose in the Pictish Kingdom of Fortriu, which is often referred to synonymously with Pictland in general, when King Uen son of Óengus, his brother Bran, Áed mac Boanta and other notable members of the dynasty were killed in battle against the Vikings. This situation resulted in at least four would-be kings warring for supreme power.

Kenneth's reign is dated from 843, but it was probably not until 848 that he defeated the last of his rivals for power. Little detail is known of his reign, although a few sources offer some insight. In 849 he had the relics of Saint Columba, which may have included the Monymusk Reliquary, transferred from Iona to Dunkeld. Apparently he also invaded Anglo-Saxon lands six times, capturing Melrose and burning Dunbar.

Kenneth died on 13th February 858 at the palace of Cinnbelachoir, which is thought to have been near Scone. He left at least two sons, Constantine and Áed, who were later kings, and at least two daughters.

Ideas , everyone has a lot of ideas . It varies from person to person and God has given us this unique gift called "Idea" , an Idea can change someone's life in a positive way simultaneously changing someone else's in a negative way . So few days back , there was this conceptual photo that I created which I shared on my facebookpage . That was totally an inspired work and I mentioned in the caption there that I did not have any credits behind the basic concept of that very photograph . Anyway so one of my fans from Facebook maybe missed the description section of the photo and was accusing me that I copied the photo . My answer was yes , because he probably did not get the thing there ! The Thing was my photo and the photo which inspired me both looked kind of similar but they were created with different perspectives , different Ideas . One can recreate a photo of something but they will always have their unique Ideas and Perspective behind their work . So yah once again , "IDEAS ARE BULLETPROOF" period .

I have SO many ideas... Im just not sure how to make them more than just a little thought in my mind

The wonderful funny story is written by Ash

Special thanks to my sis River Anwyl for playing the copper ^^

This whole story started with the "Mr. Pinchy afair" which can be seen in the album in which I add this photo.

And a big thank you to Mr. Laurel and Mr. Hardy for being the inspiration!

And now without further ado on to the story. Thank you again for putting words to my silly ideas dearest Ash!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Come on Iris! Just stand up and let me put your chair on the roof and we can go already!.....It will be much faster if I did it!"

"Not a chance, Ash!", Iris grunted as she struggled to get her wheel chair on top of Ash's beat-up old chevette while balancing on a ladder placed against the mountain of stuff that was on top of Ash’s car. "I will feel much better knowing it was secured properly!"

Ash got behind the wheel of her "Classic" Hatchback and waited impatiently. The deafening rumbling noise from the hole in the chevette's muffler drowned out what Iris was trying to say. "Do you really need all this stuff, Ash?"

"What?", her pint-sized friend replied. "Are you ready yet?"

"NO!.....I am not ready, Ash!", Iris called out while struggling to firmly secure her wheel chair atop the mountain of "essential" items.

In the car's backseat, Ash's dog, Professor Noodle, pushed against the door causing the car to slightly shake as if someone had just gotten into the backseat. "Finally!", Ash said, thinking Iris had gotten in the back. "What? Your not talking to me now?", she added. Professor Noodle sniffed at Ash's ear. Ash laughed playfully, "knock it off, Iris! You know I hate that....... and eat a mint!.....Cheese-us your breath smells like you were licking a butthole or eating a tird sandwich or something!"

Ash put the car in drive and gunned it. From on top of the car's roof, Iris screamed out in horror as the car suddenly took off. All she could do was climb into her wheel chair, hold on to her hat and hang on for dear life.

The Chevette made it's way down the canyons winding roads on the way to the interstate. Iris was shrieking the entire time like a gay vampire who was locked outside a grave as the sun came up.

Inside the car, Ash was blasting Starship's Greatest Hits and was singing along at the top of her lungs. She was so caught up in the middle of her favorite song, “Nothings Gonna Stop Us Now”, that she didn't notice the motorcycle cop behind her with it's flashing lights on.

Officer Anwyl realized the driver of the chevette wasn't going to pull over, so she decided to take a shortcut and cut them off a few miles down the winding the road.

In no time, officer Anwyl was ahead of the chevette and stood in the middle of the road ready to order them to stop.

The hunk of rusty red metal rounded the corner at a high rate off speed. Iris was white knuckling her wheel chair as the tiny hatchback tilted on to two wheels. Mister Pinchy even slipped out of the side pocket he was stowing away in and hung on by his tiny little pincher. Officer Anwyl screamed out and high stepped out of the way, narrowly escaping the wrath of Ash's clunker with bad brakes. Ash had to pull up the emergency brake handle in order to stop the car.

"SHUT THE ENGINE OFF NOW!", commanded officer Anwyl. Ash killed the engine and could immediately hear Iris on top of the roof, hyperventilating.

Ash peaked her head out the window and looked up, "What are you doing up there, Iris? You trying to get me a ticket?" Iris stared down at Ash, her face flushed red, boiling over with anger.

"I am gonna need to see some ID", demanded officer Anwyl. Ash reached for her purse but was interrupted by the officer. "No not you ma'am, Teen Wolf up there", she said, pointing at Iris.

Iris was completely baffled. "ME?!"

"Yes you!. I am issueing you a summons for ‘Reckless Endangerment’ and for ‘Riding in a Non-Designated Passenger Compartment."

Iris stared down at Ash who was looking up at her with a sheepish smile on her lush lips and scratching the top of her head, and said: "Well, here's another nice mess you've gotten me into!"

I took a break from models over the summer. I am starting back in, but not with the usual scifi. I'm going a different route and making each model a full playset with fun features and strong internal structures. These models will eventually be posted to Ideas as a modern update of a very old and influential (to me) theme in a new location.

Can you guess what that theme is?

Back on track and excited for new creations!

The hand is supposed to be mine trying to reach from under all the artsy clutter below (my projects) reaching futily toward the other ideas I don't have time to do. Think Monty Python. hehe

This was done on a large Moleskine Cahier blank journal as a product demo for AMP. The Cahier is bound in kraft paper card stock and has the classic Moleskine pocket in the back.

I sound like a used car salesman. LOL Ok, did a collage using various handmade papers and collage elements from Autumn Moon Paper. I've made notes as to which paper is which.

-"An idea?"

The capture was taken at the butterfly house of our local zoo. This place is the home of dozens of butterflies and could be photographer's heaven but it is also warm, humid and often quite crowded with people. As a consequence I usually don't spend as much time in there as I would like to and I'm quite happy that on my last visit I managed a few acceptable shots. The butterfly in this photo is also known as Paper Kite or Large Tree Nymph.

Sorry, I'm behind with commenting but I'm sick. I haven't been sick for years and it's a rather unpleasant experience. I'll try to catch up later today but I'm not sure how far I will get as I still have a terrible headache.
