This place is in Helsinki, the capital in Finland. It’s a park full of rhododendons. Very nice place to visit at this time of year. Lovely Day ( Bill Withers ) 👱♀️🎧🎶 ICMphoto.

Autumn birch trees with intentional camera movement (ICM). Not a technique I use often but in this case I think it worked out very well.
This was taken the same time as the one of Pete I posted and Sugar, too.
In this case I told you that I didn't check my camera settings. The shutter speed was very slow. The horses started running up to me and I just lifted the camera and started shooting.
This photo's redeeming feature is at least the eye looks in focus. The sun was hitting it just right to light it up nicely, too.
I have always been a big fan of ICM photos, so I thought this was worth keeping and sharing.
I'll take a quote from Bob Ross's playbook: It's a happy accident, LOL

A water sprite (also called a water fairy or water faery) is a general term for an elemental spirit associated with water, according to alchemist Paracelsus. Water sprites are said to be able to breathe water or air, and in some cases, can fly. They are mostly harmless unless threatened.

During winter season, I try to find a hint of color in the monochrome landscape. But here, I was pleased by the look of this ICM movement in black and white!
Sunrise on the coastline of El Médano in Tenerife. Another abstract using intentional camera movement (ICM) while I was waiting for the sun to rise.

This winter, I spent a lot of time in the forest...and I took a lot of photos... I posted one photo many weeks ago, from the same place, at the same time, but whit another move of my camera. ICM is fascinating!
Which version do you prefer?
For me, this is one of my favorite among all those shots taken during this beautiful winter we had.
I’m ready now for the warm season and the more colorful landscapes!
