I'm not 100% satisfied with this photograph and certainly will be trying to shoot something similar again. There really isn't much to say with this one. I'm finally starting to use the facilities here at the apartment complex where I live which I suppose is good.
On a completely separate note, I just need to point out this photography by Dave over at Chromasia. This photograph is possibly the cutest picture I have ever seen. How fun it would be to be a kid again...
I took a trip to Newcastle with my parents yesterday, and it was my first real trip to the beach with my camera. I couldn't help but think of David J. Nightingale's photographs when I was there, and I think it had a strong influence on this photograph and the processing. This is a shot of a very very old Groyne which looks like it hasn't had much care for a long, long time. There's a lot more photographs to come from this trip, a lot which I'm quite happy with.
