This was in a group of items that I did not want, and no specific attention was brought to it in the description. It's also not in the best of shape, with dings and creases, but Gregory J. Harbaugh is basically a nonsigner - I got turned down VV earlier in 2016 - and since it's unpersonalized as well, I'll take it. (I have an STS-71 CP that could use his signature, but without Harbaugh's autograph, I'll consider it crew complete when I get the penultimate astronaut on it, Ellen Baker.)
Selected by NASA in June 1987, Harbaugh became an astronaut in August 1988. A veteran of four space flights, Harbaugh has logged a total of 818 hours in space, including 18 hours, 29 minutes EVA. He served aboard STS-39 (April 28 through May 6, 1991), STS-54 (January 13-19, 1993), STS-71 (June 27 to July 7, 1995) and STS-82 (February 11-21, 1997).
He was also assigned as the backup EVA crew member and capsule communicator (Capcom) for STS-61, the first Hubble Space Telescope servicing mission.
Harbaugh left NASA in March 2001.
STS-39/Discovery (April 28 through May 6, 1991) was an eight-day unclassified Department of Defense mission involving research for the Strategic Defense Initiative.
Harbaugh flew as a mission specialist and was responsible for operation of the RMS and the Infrared Background Signature Survey (IBSS) spacecraft, and he was one of two crewmen trained for EVA in the event of a contingency requiring a space walk.
Mission duration was 199 hours, 22 minutes.
STS-54/Endeavour (January 13-19, 1993) was a six-day mission which featured the deployment of TDRS-F, and a 4-hour 28-minute space walk by Harbaugh.
Mission duration was 143 hours 38 minutes.
STS-71/Atlantis (June 27 to July 7, 1995) was the first docking.mission with the Russian Space Station Mir, and involved an exchange of crews.
On this mission, .Harbaugh served as the Flight Engineer (Mission Specialist) on a seven-member (up) eight-member (down) crew. Space Shuttle Atlantis was modified to carry a docking system compatible with the Russian Mir Space Station, and Harbaugh was responsible for the inflight operation of the docking system.
He was also assigned to perform any contingency EVA. Mission duration was 235 hours, 23 minutes.
STS-82/Discovery (February 11-21, 1997) the second Hubble Space Telescope (HST) servicing mission was a night launch and landing flight.
During the 10-day mission, the crew retrieved and secured the HST in Discovery's payload bay. In five spacewalks, two teams installed two new spectrometers and eight replacement instruments, and placed insulation patches over several compartments containing key data processing, electronics and scientific instrument telemetry packages.
Harbaugh participated in two space walks, totaling 14 hours and 01 minute. Following completion of upgrades and repairs, HST was redeployed and boosted to its highest orbit ever.
Mission duration was 239 hours, 37 minutes.
Guion "Guy" Bluford, Junior (born November 22, 1942) is a retired Colonel, from the United States Air Force and a former NASA Astronaut. He participated in four flights of Space Shuttle between 1983 and 1992. In 1983, as a member of the crew of the r. Bluford also served space shuttle Challenger on mission STS-8, Bluford became the first African American in space.
Bluford was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He received a BS in aerospace engineering from the Pennsylvania State University in 1964; a MS in aerospace engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology in 1974; a PhD in aerospace engineering with a minor in laser physics from the Air Force Institute of Technology in 1978, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston-Clear Lake in 1987.
Prior to becoming an astronaut, he attended pilot training at Williams Air Force Base, Arizona, and received his pilot wings in January 1966. He then went to F-4C combat crew training in Arizona and Florida and was assigned to the 557th Tactical Fighter Squadron, Cam Ranh Bay, Vietnam. He flew 144 combat missions, 65 of which were over North Vietnam.
In July 1967, he was assigned to the 3,630th Flying Training Wing, Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, as a T-38A instructor pilot. He served as a standardization/evaluation officer and as an assistant flight commander. In early 1971, he attended Squadron Officers School and returned as an executive support officer to the Deputy Commander of Operations and as School Secretary for the Wing.
In August 1972, he entered the Air Force Institute of Technology residency school at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Upon graduating in 1974, he was assigned to the Air Force Flight Dynamics Laboratory at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, as a staff development engineer. He served as deputy for advanced concepts for the Aeromechanics Division and as branch chief of the Aerodynamics and Airframe Branch in the Laboratory. Bluford has written and presented several scientific papers in the area of computational fluid dynamics. He has logged over 5,200 hours of jet flight time in the T-33, T-37, T-38, F4C, U-2/TR-1, and F-5A/B, including 1,300 hours as a T-38 instructor pilot. He also has an FAA commercial pilot license.
Bluford became a NASA astronaut in August 1979. His technical assignments have included working with Space Station operations, the Remote Manipulator System (RMS), Spacelab systems and experiments, Space Shuttle systems, payload safety issues and verifying flight software in the Shuttle Avionics Integration Laboratory (SAIL) and in the Flight Systems Laboratory (FSL). Bluford was a mission specialist on STS-8, STS-61-A, STS-39, and STS-53.
Bluford's first mission was STS-8, which launched from Kennedy Space Center, Florida, on August 30, 1983. This was the third flight for the Orbiter Challenger and the first mission with a night launch and night landing. During the mission, the STS-8 crew deployed the Indian National Satellite (INSAT-1B); operated the Canadian-built RMS with the Payload Flight Test Article (PFTA); operated the Continuous Flow Electrophoresis System (CFES) with live cell samples; conducted medical measurements to understand biophysiological effects of space flight; and activated four "Getaway Special" canisters. STS-8 completed 98 orbits of the Earth in 145 hours before landing at Edwards Air Force Base, California, on September 5, 1983.
Bluford then served on the crew of STS-61-A, the German D-1 Spacelab mission, which launched from Kennedy Space Center, Florida, on October 30, 1985. This mission was the first to carry eight crew members, the largest crew to fly in space and included three European payload specialists. This was the first dedicated Spacelab mission under the direction of the German Aerospace Research Establishment (DFVLR) and the first U.S. mission in which payload control was transferred to a foreign country (German Space Operations Center, Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany). During the mission, the Global Low Orbiting Message Relay Satellite (GLOMR) was deployed from a "Getaway Special" (GAS) container, and 76 experiments were performed in Spacelab in such fields as fluid physics, materials processing, life sciences, and navigation. After completing 111 orbits of the Earth in 169 hours, Challenger landed at Edwards Air Force Base, California, on November 6, 1985.
Bluford also served on the crew of STS-39, which launched from the Kennedy Space Center, Florida, on April 28, 1991, aboard the Orbiter Discovery. The crew gathered aurora, Earth-limb, celestial, and Shuttle environment data with the AFP-675 payload. This payload consisted of the Cryogenic Infrared Radiance Instrumentation for Shuttle (CIRRIS-1A) experiment, Far Ultraviolet Camera experiment (FAR UV), the Uniformly Redundant Array (URA), the Quadrupole Ion Neutral Mass Spectrometer (QINMS), and the Horizon Ultraviolet Program (HUP) experiment. The crew also deployed and retrieved the SPAS-II which carried the Infrared Background Signature Survey (IBSS) experiment. The crew also operated the Space Test Payload-1 (STP-1) and deployed a classified payload from the Multi-Purpose Experiment Canister (MPEC). After completing 134 orbits of the Earth and 199 hours in space, Discovery landed at the Kennedy Space Center, Florida, on May 6, 1991.
More recently, Bluford served on the crew of STS-53 which launched from the Kennedy Space Center, Florida, on December 2, 1992. The crew of five deployed the classified Department of Defense payload DOD-1 and then performed several Military-Man-in-Space and NASA experiments. After completing 115 orbits of the Earth in 175 hours, Discovery landed at Edwards Air Force Base, California, on December 9, 1992.
With the completion of his fourth flight, Bluford has logged over 688 hours in space.
Bluford left NASA in July 1993 to take the post of Vice President/General Manager, Engineering Services Division of NYMA, Greenbelt, Maryland. In May, 1997, he became Vice President of the Aerospace Sector of Federal Data Corporation and in October, 2000, became the Vice President of Microgravity R&D and Operations for the Northrop Grumman Corporation. He retired from Northrop Grumman in September, 2002 to become the President of the Aerospace Technology Group, an engineering consulting organization in Cleveland, Ohio.
He was inducted into the International Space Hall of Fame in 1997.
In 2006, Bluford was recognized as a distinguished alumnus of Penn State by being selected as the Grand Marshal for his alma mater's Homecoming celebration.

I had a friend print out this photo of Richard J. Hieb in preparation for an interview I did with him at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. And though it's a bit pixelly, I still like it. I don't think I'll get it replaced.
Selected by NASA in June 1985, Hieb became an astronaut in July 1986, qualified for assignment as a mission specialist on future Space Shuttle flight crews. Since then he has held a variety of technical assignments including launch support activities at Kennedy Space Center, and has served in both the Mission Development Branch and in the Operations Development Branch of the Astronaut Office.
He supported the STS-26R mission as a part of the close-out crew prior to launch and as a part of the change-out crew just after landing. A veteran of three space flights, Hieb flew on STS-39 in 1991, STS-49 in 1992, and STS-65 in 1994. He has logged over 750 hours in space, including over 17 hours of EVA (space walk).
Hieb first flew on the crew of STS-39/Discovery, an unclassified Department of Defense mission which launched on April 28, 1991 from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. During the mission, he was responsible for operating the Infrared Background Signature Satellite (IBSS) from within the payload bay, on the Remote Manipulator System (RMS) and as a free-flying satellite. He also operated the RMS to release the IBSS, and then to retrieve the IBSS a day and a half later. After 134 orbits of the Earth which covered 3.5 million miles and lasted just over 199 hours, the crew landed at Kennedy Space Center, Florida, on May 6, 1991.
Hieb was also a mission specialist on the crew of STS-49, the maiden voyage of the new Space Shuttle Endeavour, which launched from the Kennedy Space Center, Florida, on May 7, 1992. During that mission, Hieb along with astronaut Pierre Thuot, performed three space walks which resulted in the capture and repair of the stranded Intelsat VI F3 communications satellite. The third space walk, which also included astronaut Tom Akers, was the first ever three-person space walk. This 8 hour and 29 minute space walk, the longest in history, broke a twenty year old record that was held by Apollo 17 astronauts. The mission concluded on May 16, 1992 with a landing at Edwards Air Force Base, California, after orbiting the Earth 141 times in 213 hours and traveling 3.7 million miles.
Hieb was the payload commander on the second flight of the International Microgravity Laboratory (IML-2) on Space Shuttle Mission STS-65/Columbia. The mission launched from Kennedy Space Center in Florida on July 8, 1994, and returned there on July 23, 1994, setting a new flight duration record for the Space Shuttle program. During the 15-day flight the crew conducted more than 80 experiments focusing on materials and life sciences research in microgravity. The mission was accomplished in 236 orbits of the Earth, traveling 6.1 million miles.

رازیانه گیاهی گلدار از راسته آپیالس، از تیره چتریان و از سرده رازیانهها است. این گیاه سرشار از ترکیباتی مشابه هورمون زنانه استروژن (فیتواستروژنها) است و طبیعتی گرم دارد. با اینکه برخی از افراد طعم رازیانه را دوست ندارند اما این ماده میتواند مزایای زیادی برای سلامتی افراد داشته باشد. رازیانه توسط رنگ سفید و ساقه بلند سبز رنگش شناخته میشود. رازیانه بومی جنوب غربی آسیا و جنوب اروپا بویژه بخش مدیترانهای است اما امروزه در بیشتر کشورهای جهان همچون ایالت متحده آمریکا، فرانسه، هند و روسیه نیز کشت میشود. این گیاه بیشتر در پاییز برداشت میگردد. به همین خاطر در فصل پاییز و زمستان بیشتر از سایر فصول رازیانه را خواهید دید. رازیانه در فرهنگهای مختلف برای خاصیت درمانیاش مورد استفاده قرار میگرفت. در طب چینی سنتی، از آن برای کمک به انواع مختلفی از شرایط همچون افزایش شیر مادر استفاده میشد. این گیاه به درد شکم، بهبود جای نیش حشرات یا درمان گلو درد کمک میکند.
ارزش تغذیه ای رازیانه:
یک عدد رازیانه متوسط حدود ۷۳ کالری، ۳ گرم پروتئین، ۱۷ گرم کربوهیدرات دارد. این ماده چربی اندکی دارد اما کلسترول ندارد. رازیانه مقادیر بسیار زیادی فیبر دارد. خوردن بخش سفید رنگ آن حدود ۷ گرم فیبر غذایی را تامین میکند. این مقدار معادل ۲۸ درصد از نیاز روزانه بدن به فیبر است. بیشتر افراد نمیتوانند فیبر کافی مصرف کنند. به همین خاطر مصرف یک عدد رازیانه متوسط در روز میتواند ۷ گرم فیبر وارد بدن کند. قسمت سفید رنگ رازیانه حاوی ۹۶۹ میلی گرم پتاسیم است و میتواند ۲۷۷ درصد از نیاز بدن به این ماده معدنی را برطرف کند. پتاسیم برای کمک بهکاهش فشار خون و نیز حفظ و نگهداری تعادل مایعات بسیار ضروری است. رازیانه ویتامین CC فراوانی دارد و مصرف قسمت سفید رنگ آن میتواند ۲۸ میلی گرم از ویتامین C را وارد بدن کند ویتامین CC یک آنتی اکسیدان قدرتمند است که میتواند فرایند پیری را کندتر کند و باعث افزایش سلامت سیستم ایمنی بدن گردد. رازیانه ویتامینهای مهم دیگری همچون ویتامین A، B6 ، K و فولات را نیز تامین میکند. این گیاه منبع بسیار خوبی از سایر مواد معدنی همچون آهن، کلسیم، مس، روی و سلنیوم است.
خواص منحصر به فرد رازیانه:
سلامت استخوانها:
به خاطر کلسیمی که در رازیانه وجود دارد مصرف آن به حفظ و نگهداری سلامت استخوانها کمک زیادی خواهد کرد.رازیانه حاوی ۱۱۵ میلی گرمکلسیم است و میتواند ۱۰۰ درصد از نیاز بدن به کلسیم را برطرف کند. با مصرف آن میتوانید کلسیم موجود در رژیم غذایی را افزایش دهید. این موضوع برای افرادی که نمیتوانند از سایر منابع کلسیم دریافت کنند بسیار عالی است. اما کلسیم تنها ماده مغذی تقویت کننده استخوان نیست که در رازیانه یافت میشود. این گیاه حاوی منیزیم، فسفر و ویتامین K است که نقش مهمی در حفظ و نگهداری سلامت استخوانها بازی میکنند.
بهبود سلامت پوست:
رازیانه منبع خوبی برای ویتامین C محسوب میشود. ویتامین C یک آنتی اکسیدان قدرتمند است که اسیب رادیکالهای ازاد را کمتر میکند. همین امر باعث میشود پوست صورت دچار پیری زودرس نشود. ویتامین C برای تشکیل کلاژن بسیار ضروری است و ابزار قدرتمندی برای محافظت از ظاهر پوست محسوب میشود. کمبود ویتامین C در بدن را اسکوروی مینامند. این کمبود باعث میشود بدن به درستی کلاژن را تولید نکند. همین امر منجر به خونریزی لثهها و خونریزی زیر پوست میشود. به خاطر عملکردی که ویتامین C در بدن دارد، مقدار کافی و مناسب از این ویتامین برای کاهش چین و چروک و حفظ شادابی و سلامت پوست ضروری است.
کاهش فشار خون:
رازیانه می تواند فشار خون و التهاب را به خاطر محتوای پتاسیمی بالا و محتوای سدیمی اندک کاهش دهد. پتاسیم در برابر سدیم میایستد و همین امر موجب میشود فشار خون پایین آورده شود. رژیم غذایی سرشار از پتاسیم میتواند فشار خون را کاهش دهد. فقط به خاطر داشته باشید که این اثرات یک شبه ایجاد نمیشوند. برای اینکه بتوانید از این مزایا بهره مند شوید باید ۴ هفته رژیم غذایی با پتاسیم بالا مصرف کنید.
کمک به هضم:
رازایانه میتواند هضم و گوارش را بهبود ببخشد. از آنجایی که این گیاه حدود ۷ گرم فیبر غذایی دارد میتواند به سلامت سیستم گوارش کمک فراوانی بکند. عضلاتی که در سیستم گوارشی شما قرار دارند به فیبر غذایی نیاز خواهند داشت. از آنجایی که مشکلات گوارشی همچونیبوست و IBSS در بزرگسالان شایع است، مصرف رازیانه میتواند انتخاب هوشمندانه ای باشد.علاوه بر این فیبر همانند یک مسواک کوچک عمل میکند و میتواند سموم موجود در روده را پاکسازی کند. این سموم اگر در بدن باقی بمانند باعث ایجاد سرطان روده بزرگ خواهند شد. خود رازیانه همانند یک ملین عمل میکند و به دفع سموم از بدن کمک فراوانی خواهد کرد. به همین خاطر برخی از فرهنگها بعد از خوردن وعده غذایی دانه رازیانه را میجوند تا به هضم کمک کند و بوی بد دهان را از بین ببرد. برخی از روغنهایی که در رازیانه یافت میشود به تولید مایع گوارشی کمک خواهد کرد. رازیانه همچنین برای افرادی که رفلاکس اسید دارند نیز مفید است. اضافه کردن رازیانه به رژیم غذایی میتواند PH معده را متعادل سازد.
افزایش سیری:
فیبر هیچ کالری ندارد و میتواند شما را سیر نگه دارد. انسانها آنزیمی که برای شکستن فیبر لازم است را ندارند. به همین خاطر فیبر به عنوان کالری در بدن جذب نمیشود. رازیانه حدود ۷ گرم فیبر عاری از کالری دارد. مطالعات انجام شده نشان میدهد که رژیم غذایی سرشار از فیبر میتواند به کاهش وزن کمک کند. مطالعه انجام شده در سال ۲۰۰۱ نشان میدهد مصرف ۱۴ گرم فیبر در روز میتواند به کاهش وزن خوبی منجر شود. با اضافه کردن رازیانه به رژیم غذایی میتوان حس سیری را فراهم کرد. این موضوع به کاهش وزن کمک فراوانی خواهد کرد.
بهبود کولیک در نوزادان:
کولیک یا قولنج در نوزادان یکی از شرایط پزشکی نسبتا بی خطر است. کولیک به گریههای بیوقفه بیش از سه ساعت در روز که بیش از سه روز در هفته رخ دهد و حداقل سه هفته تداوم یابد، گفته میشود. در این شرایط والدین هر کاری می کنند تا نوزاد ارام شود. دارویی که اخیرا با نام دی سیکلومین هیدروکلراید برای درمان کولیک استفاده میشود میتواند عوارض جانبی شدیدی به همراه داشته باشد. اما محققان دریافته اند که روغن دانه رازیانه میتواند درد را در نوزادان کاهش دهد و یک درمان طبیعی و خانگی برای کولیک محسوب میشود. در مطالعه انجام شده در سال ۲۰۰۳، محققان روغن دانه رازیانه را با دارونماها مورد مقایسه قرار دادند. گروهی که با روغن دانه رازیانه درمان شده بودند ۶۵۵ درصد کولیک کمتری را تجربه کرده بودند. اگرچه این مطالعه امیدوار کننده است اما هنوز دوز مناسب برای نوزادان تعیین نشده است. شاید بتوان گفت امن ترین روش برای درمان کولیک نوزادان نوشیدن چای رازیانه توسط مادر است.

کمک به پیشگیری از سرطان:
رازیانه قرنهاست که در طب چینی برای کمک به درمان شرایط التهابی همچون بهبود جای نیش حشرات یا گلو درد مورد استفاده قرار میگیرد. توانایی رازیانه برای کاهش التهاب محققان را به بررسی اثرات آن بر روی سرطان واداشته است. روغنی به نام anethole که در رازیانه یافت میشود در برخی از مطالعات بالینی به عنوان درمان طبیعی سرطان شناخته شده است و میتواند تولید سلولهای سرطان سینه را کاهش دهد. دانشمندان بر این باوند که این روغن میتواند التهابی که منجر به توسعه سرطان میشود را کاهش دهد. با اینحال هنوز مطالعات بیشتری در این زمینه نیاز هست. سایر مواد ضد التهابی در رازیانه همچونسلنیوم میتواند به کاهش نرخ مرگ و میر ناشی از سرطان کمک کند. مطالعه بزرگی که شامل ۸۰۰۰۰ شرکت کننده بود نشان داد که سلنیوم مرگ و میر ناشی از سرطان را کاهش میدهد.
عوارض احتمالی مصرف رازیانه:
اگرچه بیشتر افراد مشکلی با مصرف رازیانه ندارند اما در برخی از موارد باید از مصرف این گیاه خودداری کرد. برخی از افراد ممکن است به برخی از مواد حساسیت داشته باشند. به همین خاطر باید از مصرف دانههای رازیانه اجتناب کنند. به خاطر سطح پتاسیم بالایی که در رازیانه وجود دارد افرادی که مبتلا به بیماری کلیوی هستند باید مصرف آن را محدود سازند. افرادی که از مسدود کنندههای بتا استفاده میکنند باید از مصرف رازیانه خودداری نمایند.
