IAF's Black Spitfire departs for The Airforce Museum after a 4 year maintenance period at Sde-Dov airport Arkia hangar. I was lucky enough to witness this historic flight.
Callsign "Arrow 5 " This single seater "BS004" was one of 5 Rafales (Box 1 of 3 aircraft RB001 BS001 RB004) (Box 2 of 2 aircraft BS003 & BS004) that left the Dassault factory at Bordeaux Merignac yesterday for India via the French Airbase 104 at Al Dhafra-Abu Dhabi with a first refuelling over Corsica from a French Air Force A330 MRTT which accompanied their flight. They all were carrying 3 external tanks. (RB designated aircraft are twin seaters/trainers and the BS designated aircraft are the single seaters) These Rafales will be based at AF Station Ambala No 17 Sqn - 'The Golden Arrows'
The Indian Air Force aerobatic team Sarang (Peacock), flying on the Indian built helicopters 'HAL Dhruv' at the 'Aero India 2011' Air show in Bangalore.
The Sarang's present home is Indian Air Force base at Yelahanka near Bangalore. All of the team's helicopters are painted in red and white and peacock figure at the each side of the fuselage. Also they are equipped with white smoke generators.

'Caustic 41' taxiing back to the Israeli dispersal at RAF Waddington during Cobra Warrior 2019. Note the IAF modifications to this former USAF F-15D. CFT's as standard with a ELTA jamming pod fitted on the forward left station. The dome behind the cockpit is specific to the D model and is believed to contain long range satcom equipment. The tail markings indicate 'Spearhead' Sqn, one of two F-15 'Baz' units within the IAF.
The 'Netz' 107 was one of the first F-16 Delivered to the IAF in 1980, and has a 6.5 confirmed kills! Making it the world F-16 ace in Air To Air combat.
107 also took part in "Operation Opera" 7 June 1981 destroying the Iraqi nuclear reactor “Osirak ‘southeast of Baghdad.
After about 35 years of operational service with the IAF 107 retired last week and is now on display in the Israeli Air Force Museum - מוזיאון חיל-האוויר
This IAF F16c "BARAK" takes off for the main event last week at the firat ever "Blue Flag" ex with the Greeks, Italians, USAF anf the local IAF. Blazing!
