A photograph of my garden hydrangea just starting to bloom.

This image of a delicate flower head in winter was finished with Topaz Restyle.

Variation on Shuzo Fujimoto's hydrangea by Meenakshi Mukerji. She generously shared a hint how to make it with me. I really love the result! :)

In fact it's using the same idea as my hydrangea ribbon box, but I wasn't even thinking about it... And it's so simple and ingenious little change! Wonderful! :)

As I just realized, Sara Adams already made an instructional video for this model...

15 cm square of bicolor kami paper, final size is 5 cm (one third of original size).

I couldn't help myself.

Yesterday I was in Vancouver for an appointment with an eye specialist who I see for diabetic eye care. He gave me the best possible report regarding the state of my eyes and how well I am controlling my blood sugars. YAY!

Afterwards my sister and I went to a nursery (our favourite one). Because Vancouver nurseries are so much better than Squamish nurseries I just couldn't help myself. Let's just say my sister's SUV was quite full coming home.
