Taken at the off leash park when I was waiting for the Snowbirds. This gorgeous husky came and sat in front of me like it was asking to have it's photo taken so I had to oblige.
Went into the mountains today hoping to get some nice landscapes but got a husky instead, he was a beautiful well trained dog, well worth the trip.
This cute dog lives in a kennel of sled dogs. Obviously he is not a sled dog and the crew the kennel just take care of him because of the goodness of their hearts.
I went to a dog sleigh ride today, it was so much fun :) I will be away for few days, I don't know if I will have wi-fi. Have a great spring break :)

Siberien Husky On Black
Habitué aux rudes conditions de l'Arctique, le husky sibérien possède une très bonne mémoire et un excellent sens de l'orientation. Dôté d'une intelligence supérieure, il sait prendre des initiatives. C'est un chien doté d'un influx nerveux particulièrement important et d'une très grande vitalité. Extrêmement gentil avec les humains, le husky se montre particulièrement sociable. Il ne s'attache pas forcément à une seule personne et peut changer de maître sans éprouver de traumatisme psychologique. Avec les enfants, il se montre affectueux, joueur et doux.
Chien de meute, le husky a besoin de règles hiérarchiques. En l'occurence, c'est le maître qui doit jouer le rôle de chef de meute, dominant, loyal et surtout sans faille.
Indépendant, ignorant la soumission gratuite, un peu têtu en raison de son esprit d'initiative, le husky n'est certes pas facile à éduquer.
