Green metal racks are built into the outer wall of the apartment, from which a metal rod anchors itself between the raised sections of the rack. Each coat hangers is securely hung in a punctured section of the metal rod, so as to prevent the laundry from falling down. It is located just beneath windows to enable residents to hang their washing from inside their apartment with ease. The multiple ridges on the racks allows for more space for the resident to hang up their washing.
