Whampoa Gourmet Place is part of a sprawling retail (Wonderful Worlds of Whampoa) and residential complex (Whampoa Garden) in Hung Hom, Kowloon. It's pretty tacky but the food building has some really good restaurants.
This one was rather pretty. Was dusk already, so had to do a 5sec exposure.

Our location is on Knutsford Terrace, which centres in bustling Tsimshatsui, Hong Kong's premier shopping and entertainment area. Knutsford Terrace is well known for its dining experience.

About 30 cm long. The most commonly seen dove in Hong Kong. It looks like pigeon.
White-spotted black collar around the side of the neck and hindneck. White-tipped outer
tail feathers are noticeable in flight. The call is a melodious ter-ku-koor.
Often seen in the countryside, urban parks and wooded areas.
The dove feeds on the ground. Diet consists largely of seeds as well as an occasional insect.

A Russian made Rubinar-500mm lens was used to make the shot. As the lens is a MF one, it was qiuite challenging to capture the image of such a dynamic subject from a distance.
