"The Almighty conceived the cactus plant. If God would choose a plant to represent him, I think he would choose of all plants the cactus. The cactus has all the blessings he tried, but mostly failed, to give to man.....It has humility, but it is not submissive. It grows where no other plant will grow. It does not complain when the sun bakes it back or the wind tears it from the cliff or drowns it in the dry sand of the desert or when it is thirsty. When the rains come it stores water for the hard times to come. In good times and in bad it will still flower. It protects itself against danger, but it harms no other plant. It adapts perfectly to almost any environment. It has patience and enjoys solitude."

If we all put our hearts and minds together in collaboration, working towards a better world, everyone, and I mean everyone, will be better off for sure!

In today's world, where some forget their children's needs, I want to emphasize the importance of being there for our children, whatever their needs may be. We cannot dictate, we must accompany and help in every way!!!!! It is not easy!

The single white rose conveys a strong and deep message of hope, respect, and love. It conveys the purity of that love and deep respect. When a single white rose is given, it not only signals a level of humility but also conveys an everlasting love and devotion between two people.

"For My hand made all these things, Thus all these things came into being," declares the LORD "But to this one I will look, To him who is humble and contrite of spirit, and who trembles at My word."

After the brilliant sunsets and romantic sunrises (of which there will be more to see in the near future), I would like to set a somewhat quieter tone with my Monday flower greeting today.

Because despite all the joy and euphoria over a special experience or personal success, it is important to make sure not to lose your grip on the ground.

And so it is important for me to pause for a moment from time to time to give space to humility and gratitude.

This is the only way to ensure that the joy lasts for a long time and that success does not result in excessive expectations. An expectation of those around me, but also of myself, which ultimately creates a pressure to perform that creates more suffering from passion.

And so I wish you moments of reflection on yourself and what is important to you this week. To your strength and what drives you. But also gratitude for everything and everyone who supported you on your path. Even if it was just the luck of being in the right place at the right time.

After all the pomp and glamor of the last few days, this photo comes with humility and silence.

A small tree that the icy winter winds of the Bohemian Ore Mountains have transformed into a beautiful sculpture.

The visibility this morning near Cínovec was actually no more than what can be seen here (i.e. de facto close to zero). It gives this view a minimalist appearance that absolutely fascinated me and still does.

And if it hadn't been so incredibly uncomfortable that day because of the really strong icy wind, I would have liked to explore the area further. But after 15 minutes of being outside, my capacity for suffering had already been exhausted, and I was afraid that if I stayed here any longer, I would soon look like the tree.

THE ANIMAL CRUSADE

One day all the sties and burrows opened

And out came the cave-bear the mammoth the seafaring

cormorant, that poetic diving bird, the white-headed vulture

the rock-goat from the mountains, the sea unicorn

You could see by their snouts that they meant business

You could hear by their flapping wings and their burr

They had thrown off their humility, cast down their yoke

once imposed by Adam’s secretive hero

the one with the garden

They were, to cut a long story short, fed up

And the morals of the shotgun had been cast off

the flayed skin of flight had faded

The viper walked tall and the swine wore polaroid glasses

that lent him pleasant looks. The beavers

gnawed down telegraph poles and so cut off any form of communication

Predictably enough, the lion led the way black black

as black gold and gold-coloured as deep black

It was a magnificent procession, blinding to the eye

At the back the unicorn reported as missing, the dodo the passenger pigeon

as well as various viruses and the elated spermatozoids

So the holy animals

travelled the holy world

And do you know how or why?

Oh no, they just went travelling, they didn’t have a flag!

Sometimes ripped up laws out of sheer happiness

or bled a city dry

Now and then trampled on a Jesus

or struck down a prophet or a princess

They were beginning to get tired

Haste no longer necessary

The one day’s deities left the fire

What do white flowers symbolize?

They generally symbolize pure and heavenly feelings, peace, humility, appreciation, innocence, and sincerity. Giving white flowers symbolically brings lightness and brightness to the recipient's life.

Cosa simboleggiano i fiori bianchi?

“Brothers, look at the humility of God, and pour out your hearts before Him! Humble yourselves that you may be exalted by Him! Hold back nothing of yourselves for yourselves, that He who gives Himself totally to you may receive you totally!”

-Francis of Assisi, “A Letter to the Entire Order,” 28–29, in FAED, 1:118.

In all sincerity, I cannot understand why we refuse to change the gun laws in the USA. Just compare the USA to other countries how many children are killed by guns in their schools by their citizens? Should we not pass that law first before trying a 14-year-old as an adult? Something is wrong here! Gun laws have to be made for people to understand that one cannot just kill anyone for any reason! And families must bring up their children to believe in love and understanding. We need more tolerance, less hate, and to be able to discuss things civilly to find mutual solutions! I just cannot understand with the huge number of parents in this country how it is not possible to pass a sensible law to protect our PRECIOUS children. Most parents would do anything for their children, so why do they refuse to insist upon reasonable gun laws?

..were a symbol of humility and modesty in the Middle Ages because despite its beauty it settles on grass and holds its ground there.

sometimes I meet people who carry a stillness within them. although they are full of wisdom, they neither try to lecture you, nor do they look down on you. when you are with them, there is only peace - and yet buried in this silence lies a truth

A new edit on Tomorrow Man, hope you like it. As i'm evolving in photography and processing, defining a style, i'm leaning more towards minimalism, as well in archticture, seascapes or even street photography.

Thanks for following me!

For those who are interested:

Tomorrow man is a sculpture by Belgian artist Catherine Francois.

"Tomorrow's Man" ... trying to achieve a balance between man and nature ... placed between land and sea, watching him disappear and reappear ... having an attitude of humility towards the immense power of the infinite sea ..." - Catherine Francois.

-------------------------

In the gathered silence of the stable,

among the warmth of hay and the patient breath of animals,

a gentle light settles upon the earth.

It makes no sound, asks for no space: It brings only Peace to men of good will.

But Paul is possessed of a humility, an honesty, and gentleness that serve him well in the face of what might make others vain or arrogant. I believe the source of Paul's humility and gentleness is his spirituality, which is grounded in a willingness to reflect deeply on theodicy-that is, to consider the reality of how evil is active in the world and to dare ask the painful question of how and why a good God allows the suffering of innocent people. Paul is equally willing to consider and challenging questions about the role we humans play in both causing and alleviating suffering.

A Prayer I wrote and pray daily...

Sweet St. Damien and St. Marianne Cope of Molokai...

Please pray for me.

I so need your prayers.

Help me to have the faith,

humility and courage to follow your path...

The true way of the Cross.

Help me not to be blinded

by the petty things of life.

Help me to raise my eyes to God,

making Christ my All.

May, I learn to love listening,

and silence while offering my service

without reward.

May, I die to self and care only about

doing the work of God

as it unfolds in my life.

Help me to do these things,

which are only displays

of the love of God

for all.

May, I take up my cross

and follow Christ

and his beautiful Saints.

-Amen

The path of tenderness

What is tenderness? It is the Love that becomes close and concrete. It is a movement that starts from the heart and arrives to the eyes, to the ears, to the hands. Tenderness is to use our eyes to see the others, to use our ears to listen to the others. It means to use our hands and heart to caress the others, to care for them. Yes, tenderness is the road that have taken the bravest and strongest men and women. Tenderness is not weakness, it is strength.

. It is the road of humility.
