Friendship marks a life even more deeply than love. Love risks degenerating into obsession, friendship is never anything but sharing.
Elie Wiesel.
Eliezer "Elie" Wiesel (September 30, 1928 – July 2, 2016) was a Romanian-born American Jewish writer, professor, political activist, Nobel Laureate and Holocaust survivor. He was the author of 57 books, written mostly in French and English, including Night, a work based on his experiences as a prisoner in the Auschwitz and Buchenwald concentration camps.
Along with writing, he was a professor of the humanities at Boston University, which created the Elie Wiesel Center for Jewish Studies in his honor. He was involved with Jewish causes, and helped establish the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C. In his political activities he also campaigned for victims of oppression in places like South Africa and Nicaragua and genocide in Sudan. He publicly condemned the 1915 Armenian Genocide and remained a strong defender of human rights during his lifetime. He was described as "the most important Jew in America" by the Los Angeles Times.
Wiesel was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1986, at which time the Norwegian Nobel Committee called him a "messenger to mankind," stating that through his struggle to come to terms with "his own personal experience of total humiliation and of the utter contempt for humanity shown in Hitler's death camps", as well as his "practical work in the cause of peace", Wiesel had delivered a message "of peace, atonement and human dignity" to humanity. He was a founding board member of the New York Human Rights Foundation and remained active throughout his life. Source Wikipedia.

Once upon a time, three little girls lived in a cottage in the middle of the woods while their parents went on a business trip.
Goldilocks, Whiteylocks and Hazelocks.
You have most probably read about Goldilocks's story before, but have you heard of what happens next?
After Goldilocks fled from the home of the 3 bears, she was angry and humiliated, being the spoiled little girl she was, she felt that she had done no wrong. She vowed to get them back somehow, some day.
One early morning, Goldilock's youngest sister Hazelocks barged into her room excitedly announcing that a baby bear was in their kitchen. Hazelocks had medium length brown hair, she was tomboyish and did not act like a proper lady, she also had certain strange sadistic habits and was fascinated with torturing insects.
Goldilocks was delighted when she rushed to the kitchen and saw the familiar bear, although it had messed up the kitchen and was even stealing oatmeal from one of their bowls. Hazelocks started jumping around in excitement, and Goldilocks started formulating a plan.
Goldilocks was vain, arrogant and as aforementioned, terribly spoiled. She wanted a fur coat, her parents had promised to buy her one but their business trip was taking forever. She came up with a stupid and cruel plan, she wanted to skin the bear and use the baby bear's fur for a coat.
She told her sister who happily agreed that she would help Goldilocks with any "bloody disgusting" jobs when they skinned the bear. She was as excited as her sister and because of her warped mind, she enjoyed seeing any living organism suffer, except for herself or her family members.
Just then, Goldilock's 2nd sister, Whiteylocks (the middle child) rushed in and in her gentle persuasive tone, tried to stop her sisters from such acts of cruelty against animals. Whiteylocks was demure, gentle, well-mannered and she loved animals. Like all sickeningly sweet fairy tale princesses, she was adored by everyone but her eldest sister who was jealous of her.
Ignoring Whiteylocks, Goldilocks and Hazelocks were still bent on carrying out their plans. Advancing towards the bear cub with a knife, Hazelocks had a murderous look in her eyes as she raised the sharp deadly object.
The bear cub sensed danger and started squealing and calling for its mother in its own bear-speak that none of the three girls understood.
Just then, the girls heard a growl and charging with miraculous speed for an animal so large, the mother bear jumped through the window and continued growling menacingly at the three girls while protectively defending her baby cub.
She recognized Goldilocks as the intruder to her home and roared with anger, firstly, she had stolen their food, ruined their furniture and slept in her baby's bed and now, she wanted to hurt her baby.
Goldilocks and her sisters were already cornered, in her fury, the mother ripped Goldilocks apart and that sent her other 2 sisters screaming and crying, running for their lives. The mother bear turned to chase Hazelocks whom she had seen holding the knife and tore her into shreds. Whiteylocks being well read knew that there were 2 ways to escape a bear,
1. Climb a tree
2. Act dead
and since there was no tree in the house, she sprawled on the floor, trying to hold her breath and keep her calm, faking death. But the mother bear did not hurt her, she and her baby cub left the house which had been so clean a few minutes ago. (In comparison to it's current state the messed up kitchen would have been considered "clean")
Whiteylocks stared at her sister's dead bodies, or rather, what was left of them, and froze, her already semi-white hair turned whiter from shock into a pure white, her naturally pale skin paled further and her large eyes remained opened to the fullest, she couldn't stop shaking, she couldn't talk, she sat there in the house in the same position for days.
Eventually when the parents of the three girls returned, they were shocked to see the blood and the torn up bodies.
Whiteylocks was also dead. She sat in the same position, wrapping her arms around her own body. She had died from the lack of water and food.
And that was the sad end of the three little girls who lived in the cottage in the middle of the woods.

For those who have really seen the real human misery. Those who have been tortured, burn to death, dismembered, humiliated in the most hideous ways, seeing their families get kill in front of their eyes, and other unimaginable things. Those are the ones who makes me believe that despite there is no justice to us, there is on the other side, in God's arms.

This one is for those who in some kind of way are or have been deprived of their freedom, for the abused ones and the innocents.
For a new sunrise full of hope for those alive,
and may God have in his glory those who have left.
Do not stop praying.
Make a difference, now.

Eating crow (archaically, eating boiled crow) is an English-language idiom meaning humiliation by admitting wrongness or having been proved wrong after taking a strong position.[1] Eating crow is presumably foul-tasting in the same way that being proved wrong might be emotionally hard to swallow.[1] Eating crow is of a family of idioms having to do with eating and being proved incorrect, such as to "eat dirt", to "eat your words", and to "eat your hat" (or shoe).[1] . . . en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eating_crow

"Love humiliates you, hate cradles you."
On a personal note this is my favorite book of all time, and I love the movie just the same. It holds so much truth of my relationship with my own mother.
I added some grain, what do you think?
I dyed my hair black last night and I love it :)
The Martand Sun Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Surya (the chief solar deity in Hinduism) and built during the 8th century CE. Now in ruins, the temple is located five miles from Anantnag in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The temple was destroyed on the orders of Sultan Sikandar Butshikan, as part of his efforts to forcibly convert Kashmiri people to Islam.
The Martand temple was built on top of a plateau from where you can view whole of the Kashmir Valley. The Archaeological Survey of India has declared the Martand Sun Temple as a site of national importance in Jammu and Kashmir.
In 2014 Martand Temple was selected as the background for the song Bismil, in the popular Bollywood movie Haider. The movie is modelled on Shakespeare's Hamlet in the backdrop of Kashmir conflict. In the movie the temple was shown as a place of evil. This partially led to the controversy surrounding the movie. Anupam Kher criticised director Vishal Bhardwaj for shooting the Devil’s Dance sequence in the temple, resulting in humiliation to Kashmiri Pandits.
The Doel Nuclear Power Station is one of the two nuclear power plants in Belgium. The plant is located on the bank of the Scheldt, near the village of Doel in the Flemish province of East Flanders.
Doel is threatened with complete demolition due to the future enlargement of the harbour of Antwerp. This has seen many people having to sell their homes to the development corporation of that enlargement.
The Flemish Executive started with the demolition of the village of Doel on a massive scale. The historic village is situated in the vicinity of the Port of Antwerp. However, there are still inhabitants in the village who resist the demolition of their homes. This triggered the Flemish Executive to send a squad of riot police to the village in order to force through the start of the demolition works. The sheer brutality and heavy-handed approach of the Flemish Executive has left the remaining villagers humiliated and the wider region in a state of shock. The streets are strewn with rubble, big ugly gaps appeared in between the houses. The village now looks like a war-torn zone.

This World War II memorial is known as the Bunyan window, as it features Christian, St George and the Dragon and Christian vanquishing Apollyon in the Valley of Humiliation. It was made in 1951 by Harry Stammers in memory of the Officers and Men of the Staffordshire Yeomanry who gave their lives for King and Country.

What is it about crossdressing that gives some men a such state of mind that only those of us who feel compelled to do it and get to do it can fully experience?
As I have mentioned, countless times, I am convinced that I was born a crossdresser and it has to do with my brain's wiring rather than any childhood trauma or fetish. I was not forcefully dressed as a girl or" humiliated" in that way at any point in my life, but have memories, from a very early age, about willingly trying on some of my mother's garments and shoes, that obviously did not fit. I am the oldest of four children and the one sister is the youngest, and ten years younger than I. So, there were no big sisters in the picture either. It has always been something I have felt compelled to do and have found ways to do it throughout my life. At first there was the guilt and shame, then the thrill and excitement and, once I came to terms with it, the real peace and enjoyment.
Do I need an answer to the question with which I started this writing? Not really; all I need is self acceptance and ways to express this facet of my being.
Young CDs have it easier today since there is more awareness and even acceptance or tolerance from society. Those who are around my age and older had to go through rough times and many still do. My advice to all is to not try to find an explanation or cure but rather for self acceptance. Once you come to terms with who you are, you will be able to fully enjoy your feminine expression and presentation.
There is always the issue of keeping it in hiding, and that is perhaps the most difficult phase that most of us, older girls, have gone through. At one point or another we have had to hide it from loved ones and, in most cases, from friends, coworkers and other people around us. The fear of being rejected or disowned by loved ones is always too strong an issue to come clean with our spouse and family. I was lucky to confide my "secret" to my wife, for 30 years now, when we were only friends and know that most of our sisters still live in hiding. In my opinion, a loved one will appreciate our telling them and if they really love us they will at least tolerate it within reasonable limits. It is very important that to have clear information from trustworthy sources so that they can draw their own conclusions and realize that we are not gay or want to be women. Please do not take this as encouragement but rather as something to take into consideration.
Feeling AT EASE will only come when the guilt and shame is gone.

Did't even know she still had these videos, just randomly sent me this video without saying anything... lol
Tivadar Csontváry Kosztka (1853 – 1919), the Hungarian painter loved by Picasso.
Tivadar Csontváry Kosztka (1853 – 1919), the Hungarian painter loved by Picasso.
"Csontváry’s works were exhibited in Paris in 1948. Picasso spent an hour outside the exhibition’s regular opening hours viewing them, and after emerging, declared “I did not realize there was another great painter in this century aside from myself.”
Csontváry probably would have taken issue with Picasso’s proclamation, arguing that he was a more significant painter even than Raphael."
"On the hot sunny afternoon of 13 October 1880, when Csontvary was 27 years old, he had a mystic vision. He heard a voice saying, 'You will be the greatest Sunway Painter, greater than Raphael!' He took journeys around Europe, visited the galleries of the Vatican, and returned to Hungary to earn money for his journeys by working as an apothecary. From 1890, he traveled around the world. He visited Paris, the Mediterraneum (Dalmatia, Italy, Greece), North Africa and the Middle East (Lebanon, Palestine, Egypt, Syria) and painted pictures. Often his pictures are very large, several metres wide and height is not unusual."
"In recent decades, Tivadar Kosztka Csontváry has become a true national hero. After all, he has all the necessary attributes: he was only celebrated after his time, his canon of work is not only spectacular, but also unique, and his contemporaries in Hungarian society treated him as all future national heroes were: he was mocked and humiliated.
He painted his major works between 1901 and 1909. He had some exhibitions in Paris (1907) and Western Europe. Most of the critics in Western Europe recognized his abilities, art and congeniality, but in the Kingdom of Hungary during his life, he was considered to be an eccentric crank for several reasons, e. g. for his vegetarianism, anti-alcoholism, anti-smoking, pacifism, and his cloudy, prophetic writings and pamphlets about his life (Curriculum), genius (The Authority, The Genius) and religious philosophy (The Positivum). Some of his biographists considered this as a latent, but increasingly disruptive schizophrenia. Although he was later acclaimed, during his lifetime Csontváry found little understanding for his visionary, expressionistic style. A loner by nature, his “failure” impaired his creative power.
His art connects with post-impressionism and expressionism, but he was an autodidact and cannot be classified into one style. He identified as a "sunway"-painter, a term which he created.
The painter, after being derided for decades, ended up starving to death after the Soviet Republic took everything away from him.
He starved to death.
To give us an idea of how his life’s work was rated at the time, his heirs attempted to sell the paintings to delivery men as they were painted on high-quality canvas. Were it not for Gedeon Gerlóczy, who recognized Csontváry’s genius and bought them all up, there would be no paintings surviving to this day.
Today, a Csontváry is worth millions of Euros."

Terry McGinnis grew up in a Gotham without a Batman - at least, not anymore. The streets were overtaken by a new gang of criminals calling themselves the Jokerz, and nobody was able to take them on, especially not Terry, who they chased all the way to the front gates of Wayne Manor, where Bruce Wayne himself sent them running. Terry helped Bruce inside, and on his way out, discovered Bruce's secret - the Batcave. In retaliation for their humiliation, the Jokerz murdered Terry's father, which sent him furiously back to Bruce's door. From that day on, Gotham once again had a Dark Knight, a young, new Batman of tomorrow!
Another attempt at a figure we should've gotten long ago. I was hoping the new Black Panther head would finally end the search for the right Batman Beyond head, but it turns out the older Black Panther head turned around might not be too bad!
