Voglio vedere cosa succede
se molli la presa e mi lasci cadere.
Voglio capire cosa sarebbe,
oltre le nuvole quando si cade....

Another pic of my custom FF figures. I painted the inside of Torch's head so that it would be a better match for the rest of the figure.
Thing's belt was painted white, although that's hard to see in this photo.
Pucinella is one of the most famous masks from Southern Italy. It originated in the 17th century when it is recorded in many illustrations. Still some of these would seem to suggest it derives from the atellan tradition and specifically from characters such as Macco and Dosseno, with whom it shares a characteristic humpback, paunch and a touch of nastiness. Pucinella’s costume recalls the one worn by the zanni. He wears a baggy white shirt gathered tightly into a black belt, which hangs over trousers that look ready to fall down at any moment. His is a clean-shaven, black mask, with tiny beady eyes and a hooked nose, which makes his voice shrill and squeaky. Some actors and puppeteers have used a particular instrument known as “sgherlo” or “pivetta” to produce this unusual voice. The hooked nose and voice, resembling a chick (in Italian “pulcino”), also seem to have influenced the choice of name. The character belongs to the zanni group even if he is more complex. He is a stupid servant type but on occasion he possesses the common sense and intelligence of ordinary folk. He is a mixture of vitality and restlessness, sadness and a readiness to show his amazement when faced with anything new. Traditionally Silvio Fiorillo, who lived in the second part of the 16th century and was a member of the Accesi troupe, invented this mask. Following Fiorillo, the next actor to play the part successfully was Antonio Petito (1822-‘76), who bestowed the character with greater psychological realism.

I had made/taken this photo a while ago, with no real idea of when I wanted to post it, but with the news coming out about Stan Lee, this felt very appropriate.
Stan Lee's legacy speaks for himself. He's inspired multiple generations of people. He helped write stories that have been passed down from parents to their children, including my own father who read marvel comics to me as a kid. To so many, he's been the sole face of comic books as an industry, and the reason creators decide to write, or draw.
Stan, you will be so greatly missed.

The Fantastic Four Custom LEGO figures by Jared K. Burks featuring Susan "Invisible Woman" Storm, Reed "Mr. Fantastic" Richards, Johnny "Human Torch" Storm, and Ben "The Thing"
This is one of the 14 Pictures i submitted to the "Trierenberg Super Circuit". And this one was awarded with a Goldmedal - must be the first time in such a highly international renowned contest/award that Lightpainting got that far - a huge honour. Alongside some other fellow lightpainters who got me into this, i would like to thank Dennis Calvert for sharing his technique and beeing such a inspirational source - this is what made my recent success possible!!
Here is a bit of a work in progress. If you get the figure in a well lit environment the decal works perfectly, but I think it needs to be a touch darker to really work everywhere. The other thing that works well is the figure isn't crystal clear, which keeps the back design from showing through the front of the figure so much. You can see a touch, but not the whole design.

When ya wanna BRING DA HEAT... that's right! You call:
FIREMAN!* Built by Dr. Light** to work in an incinerator at a waste management facility and is able to wield flames that can reach 7000-8000 degrees. Fire Man can melt or burn through almost anything with his Special Weapon, the Fire Storm, whose weapon system excellently combines offense and defense.
DA HUMAN TORCH!*** Johnny Storm himself! This flame-head's attacks include his Nova Flame, a multi-directional attack capable of over 1,000,000 degrees Fahrenheit, and his Nova Heat, an offensive beam of heat so hot some say it rivals the heat of a star! Even without using his Nova Blast, Human Torch has been able to reach temperatures hot enough to hurt the likes of Hulk!
DA LAVA TITAN! It's PYROS himself! This dude's heat can't be measured in degrees, scovilles, attraction, or any other way coz it's not just physical! This guy brings Olympian heat! And it's not just flame... it's LAVA! Want get burned up with a side order of drowning?
Yeah.
This is bringin da heat.

Always been partial to the Comics variants. This is by no means an exhaustive list (frankly, at this stage, I doubt I could take a HQ shot of all of them together) -- just a bunch of my fav. characters.
