PCC Associate Chief Information Officer Jeremy Morris, left, and Network Security Analyst Sam McCool, present Director of Human Resources Operations Kerry Bruner an award for first place in the college’s recent phishing contest. HR finished ahead of Planning & Research and Financial Aid in the four-week competition, which was conducted to assess employees' ability to identify and respond to phishing emails. Morris says the objective was to simulate real-world phishing scenarios and evaluate the effectiveness of the college’s current cybersecurity awareness as part of a continuing effort to make PCC’s network environment safer.
