a fleeting symmetry between two strangers separated by glass, each absorbed in a private ritual — one reaching for the sky, the other lost in the glow of her screen. between them floats a promise: crafted by hand & heart.

the taxi driver spoke to someone miles away. the man on the sidewalk did the same. they stood three feet apart and never looked at each other.

captured in palmanova, this image vividly illustrates the silent stories of two couples seated by the beach, their contrasting body language revealing the dynamics of their relationships. on the right, a couple sits closely with their legs angled towards each other, symbolizing a connection that has endured over time. their bodies lean slightly inward, indicating mutual interest and affection. in contrast, the couple on the left displays a different story; they sit apart with their bodies and legs turned away from each other, suggesting lives that have grown separate. each person seems lost in their own world, embodying a sense of isolation despite their physical proximity. the serene backdrop of sunbathers and gentle waves adds a layer of irony, as the beach's tranquility contrasts with the subtle emotional distance on the bench, showcasing how love can both thrive and wane over the years.

One finds love in the most unexpected places.

Such a legend in my life and an inspiration for a nontraditional female in music from the time I was a teenager...mom hated the screeches blasting out of the speaker but she's forgiven me now because she gets in. <3 mom and Bjork!

This is on of my so called 'conceptual edits', influenced by the harsh power of addiction and what it does to people. Others stories and my own experiences. Either you are the addict, or standing next one, the same self-destructing behavior is to find. You keep lying to yourself and each other, with the same promises "Tomorrow I will quit this! Tomorrow!".

Constantly split between Keep and Eat... and you try to go for both!

Some vendors at Chorsu are busy selling, others are catching up with customers, and some are clearly off the clock. Whether it's a well-earned rest after a long shift or just a quiet moment between customers, this scene tells much about the daily rhythm of market life.

Chorsu Market isn't just a place for buying and selling — it's a world where business, community, and daily routines blur together under one iconic roof.

Contact 918 is an international forum for photographers and my photographs were chosen by their photography jury panel to be part of a 200 picture slideshow that is networked with 28 other artists and international photographers.

The digital projection will be showcased as part of a running video broadcast in the 918 Bathurst Cultural, Arts, Media and Education Centre that is open to the public..

..and for the audiences of the Contact Photography Festival throughout the month of May.

This venture is emerging as an exciting visual playground that connects me with other photographers by linking digital projection imagery with an attending public audience.

All photographers submitted images that explore the transformation of human behavior.

The Contact Photography Festival is considered the biggest photography event of its kind

and 'Pervasive Influence' was this year's thematic focus.

mukha is constantly doing incredible things, but there are 4 extraordinary things she has done recently that i never want to forget. i had to write them down, thought i would share them!

we were playing and she hit my lip really hard with her head. it stunned me and i turned away from her to stabilize. when i turned back around, she looked at me gently and curiously and sniffed towards my lip, then she dropped her toy and gave me a kiss on my hurt lip! it hurt when she did it, but she definitely made the pain go away because i started laughing and being so amazed at how awesome she is! thank you for kissing my booboo mukha!

about a week after that:.

sometimes she likes to sit by the fence and spy on things in the yard next door. one day she was doing this for about 10 minutes while i was leaning against the trampoline talking to my mom on the phone. suddenly, she turned around and lightly trotted straight over to me, jumped up gently and gave me a kiss right on the lips and then left! it was so deliberate! thank you for being such a lovebug!

it was evening and the sky was pale and dull. usually, at this time, the treetops are bright orange from the sun setting, but they weren't. everything was bla.

we were playing when she stopped and looked at the sky. i was trying to get her attention back to playing again. she looked at me and looked back at the same area in the sky, as if to say 'look!' so i turned and saw a flock of flaming orange geese flying low in the sky. their color was so intense and the only color in the sky. they looked huge. it was so beautiful. thank you mukha chan for showing that to me!

the day after that:.

we were playing in the backyard, she was running back to me with her ball and i was jumping up and down clapping and cheering her on. when she got to me, i was still jumping and she ran under me while i was airborne and she took my legs out and i totally landed on the ground on my side! it was hilarious! it didn't hurt at all, which is really amazing. it happened in such slow motion. i jumped up in a vertical line and landed in a horizontal line. i laughed for the rest of the day about it! thank you mukha for making me laugh so much and not hurting me!

Artist: Bjork Lyrics

Song: Human Behavior Lyrics

If you ever get close to a human

And human behaviour

Be ready to get confused

There's definitely no logic

To human behaviour

But yet so irristible

There's no map

To human behaviour

They're terribly moody

Then all of a sudden turn happy

But, oh, to get involved in the exchange

Of human emotions is ever so satisfying

There's no map

And a compass

Wouldn't help at all

Human behaviour

Don`t take it too personal; but I did write it for you.

So, you overlooked a tiny detail? Every time you spend MONEY you cast a vote for the kind of world you want? Nothing takes lives like poverty. Ever noticed? Poverty is man-made. You should drop whatever it is you`re holding in your hands right know, move on to civilized behavior, taking care of your next. What do I mean by that? You are my greatest responsibility in life, and I hope to be yours. Taking care of your next is taking care of yourself, being "ego +". You don`t have life where survival is non-existent. We`re an organism at war with itself, and a such organism is dying. Would you please go home and look up: FASCISM? You`re behaving like a prick, and although fascists got table manners too they`re not cool to have around.

What you did not know until now: Survival through a physical currency is not po$$ible. Even better: there simply is no actual need to do so. At best it is following the idea of a crazy mind. Why bother then? Nowadays flies live longer than we do. Talk about a sick culture.

How about a look in the direction of feeling? You`ll eventually get there, intuition says. That`s your currency for perfect survival right there, life itself. Too cryptic?

To Bertolt Brecht it is not:

"It is easier to rob by setting up a bank than by holding up a bank clerk."

"The law was made for one thing alone, for the exploitation of those who don't understand it, or are prevented by naked misery from obeying it."

“In the dark times

Will there also be singing?

Yes, there will also be singing.

About the dark times.”

“Nowadays, anyone who wishes to combat lies and ignorance and to write the truth must overcome at least five difficulties. He must have the courage to write the truth when truth is everywhere opposed; the keenness to recognize it, although it is everywhere concealed; the skill to manipulate it as a weapon; the judgment to select those in whose hands it will be effective; and the running to spread the truth among such persons.”

“The worst illiterate is the political illiterate, he doesn’t hear, doesn’t speak, nor participates in the political events. He doesn’t know the cost of life, the price of the bean, of the fish, of the flour, of the rent, of the shoes and of the medicine, all depends on political decisions. The political illiterate is so stupid that he is proud and swells his chest saying that he hates politics. The imbecile doesn’t know that, from his political ignorance is born the prostitute, the abandoned child, and the worst thieves of all, the bad politician, corrupted and flunky of the national and multinational companies.”

"Though the rich of this earth find no difficulty in creating misery, they can't bear to see it."

"The man who laughs has simply not yet had the terrible news."

"When crimes begin to pile up they become invisible. When sufferings become unendurable the cries are no longer heard. The cries, too, fall like rain in summer."

"If art reflects life, it does so with special mirrors."

And the list goes on.
