Lying forgotten and in a state of decay, this rotting hulk lies beside the waters she one graced - a forgotten memorial to Scottish fishing
Just a little fun for me.
I like clouds. And purple and green are some of my favorite colors.
And the missus suggested the Hulk title. :)
Enjoy.
A view of one of the more photogenic boat hulks at Dungeness. I was going to go for mono but I like the colour of the nets and the rope.

This image was taken at the Purton Hulks or Purton Ships Graveyard, where there are over 80 abandoned boats and ships deliberately beached beside the River Severn near Purton in Gloucestershire, England. This was originally done to reinforce the river banks, mostly in the 1950s and so the ships are now in a state of considerable decay, and quite interesting to photograph. Purton is now the largest ship graveyard in mainland Britain.
..during low tide I had the possibility to get a closer relationship to those beautifully green haired rocks. I'm afraid you will see them from time to time :)
.
Thanks for visits and faves. Written comments highly appreciated and will be responded a.s.a.p :)
Cheers

Updated my Hulk figure a bit more. I added torso muscles as well as arm muscles. I also added a ripped shirt and put a green wash on his hair.
Now for an MCSG update: I know I've only had a short run on the Hulk series and the last part ended with a cliffhanger of sorts, I've decided to drop the role. I did what I wanted with the role and I feel like I don't need to do much more. Obviously the question is, "did Banner die?" and that can be simply answered with an "I don't know." It all depends on what the next writer decides to do if anyone so chooses to pick up the role. There is a myriad of places you could take the story and I urge anyone with an interest in story telling (especially with Hulk) to app for the role. :D
Since the razor is shown diagonally, approximately 2.362 inches are visible.

I wish you a happy MacroMonday and a great week.
A week ago this was a shiny red Case combine.I happened to drive by this farm last month when the farmer was washing it,getting it "nice and pretty" for this harvest season. That all changed when soybean residue built up around the engine and caught on fire. The operator never knew it was on fire till the engine died.Thankfully,no one was hurt, and 2 days later they had a new shiny red Case completing the field...
Combine fires are all too common.I hear of one in my area about every other year.We have never had one,but once our combine started a field fire which burned about 5 acres before it was put out.It is almost always the result of plant debris building up around the engine-windy and hot days are the most dangerous.
Farming itself is rated as the 4th most dangerous occupation in the US,well ahead of policeman and fireman(fishing is number 1).I have seen some accidents and the results of some accidents, that I will never forget.I had a very close friend die from one years ago.It has made me much more careful, but some accidents are hard to avoid.Be careful out there!
One of the most depressing locations I've ever shot at. I took a chance after seeing these old barges near Rainham Marshes (the original idea), and drove down there.
They're abandoned in the industrial heart of the Thames Estuary. The mud is like glue and the rice factory nearby makes the whole place reek. The worst bit though, is that the entire area above the high water mark is carpeted with waste plastic. It's horrible to see, completely choking up the reedbeds. We've been given a beautiful world, and look what we do to it.
I found it difficult to make pictures there, apart from the mud (which gets everywhere), the stink, and the general gloomy vibe of the place, it was really challenging to get an angle on these boats.
According to some accounts, they were towed over the English Channel on D-Day, and used to make mulberries. Or they weren't at all. They're made of concrete because steel was in short supply in WWII.
Bessom boatyard. River Thames, Oxford, UK.
I was drawn to the inverted shapes of the hulls and the very sharp vertical line division between them as well as the colourscape in this shot.
he north-western beach is the sand/shingle/mud estuary Traeth Dulas (Dulas Beach); southeast of this is the tiny Traeth Bach (Small Beach) and the sandy Traeth Yr Ora (Beach of The Fortified Landing Place). The estuary running through Traeth Dulas is that of the Afon Goch (Red River). The Traeth Bach and Traeth Yr Ora at high tide are separated by a rock outcrop called Craig y Sais (The Saxon Rock). At low tide, however, it is possible to walk on the sand between the three beaches and also onto th beaches of Lligwy Bay to the south. Traeth Dulas is most affected by the tide, so much so that the most inland parts of the estuary are salt marshes. A walk is the circuit starting at Lligwy Bay, taking in Traeth Ora, the Pilot boat Pub and an option to reach the top of nearby Mynydd Bodafon.[1]
