Osmanlı zamanında kuka mikropkırıcı olarak kullanılmış.Kuka ise bir çeşit tropik ağaç meyvesidir.

Oculto entre los árboles de un tranquilo barrio cercano al centro de Coyoacán, el Ex - Convento de Churubusco aún conserva las marcas que los cañonazos inflingieron a sus muros en una mítica batalla de la guerra mexicano - estadounidense, muros que hasta nuestros días se yerguen airosos como testigos de la historia y como guardianes de uno de los espacios más importantes de la memoria nacional.
El Convento de Churubusco, palabra que proviene del náhuatl "Huitzilopochco" que significa lugar del templo de Huitzilpochlti, tiene sus orígenes en los primeros años del siglo XVI, al establecer los recién llegados misioneros franciscanos un centro de evangelización en lo que anteriormente había sido un poblado prehispánico que databa del año 1065 d.C. Para su construcción los misioneros emplearon como en muchos otros casos de nuestro país, las mismas piedras de los templos prehispánicos para la realización de los distintos espacios religiosos, quedando el templo dedicado a la advocación de Santa María de los Ángeles. Años más tarde, el convento pasó a manos de los misioneros dieguinos, también conocidos como franciscanos descalzos, que con el paso de las décadas y gracias a los donativos de varios personajes del periodo virreinal, pudieron agregar nuevos espacios y mejorar las instalaciones con que contaban. Así el conjunto se encuentra integrado por una capilla y un área de habitaciones y claustro protegidos al norte con una huerta con árboles frutales, ventilando e iluminando sus espacios por medio de tres patios interiores así como por las huertas y el patio del descanso localizados al sur del convento.
Durante 1847, en plena intervención norteamericana, el convento fue designado sitio estratégico, razón por la cual funcionó como base de operaciones para el ejército mexicano para la defensa de la Ciudad de México, sin embargo el 20 de agosto de 1847, este convento fue escenario de una cruenta batalla en la que participaron las tropas mexicanas apoyadas por el famoso batallón de San Patricio que desde entonces hermana al pueblo de México con la República de Irlanda.
Posteriormente, tras la nacionalización de los bienes del clero, el convento pasó a manos del gobierno mexicano que tras varios años de abandono lo convirtió en el Museo Nacional de las Intervenciones, mismo que abrió sus puertas en 1921 y en el cual se exhiben distintos objetos de gran valor histórico de las distintas invasiones que el país sufrió durante el siglo XIX, en un extraordinario marco histórico que sumerge al visitante en la apasionante historia de México
Adicionalmente en este conjunto se pueden conocer como eran los interiores y la vida diaria de las órdenes religiosas de la Nueva España y se pueden apreciar notables espacios como el Templo de San Diego, que alberga un espléndido altar churrigueresco, así como los distintos patios y jardines que nos transportan al pasado y que constituyen una pausa en la vida cotidiana. Asimismo en este sitio se llevan a cabo diversas representaciones artísticas y culturales a lo largo del año con diversas temáticas que aprovechan el magnífico escenario histórico en el que se presentan.
La entrada al museo tiene un costo de 30 pesos y el domingo la entrada es gratuita. El templo se encuentra abierto al público de manera gratuita todos los días.

June 2014 CreativeMornings/Raleigh event (global theme: Minimal) with guest speaker Vansana Nolintha, who along with his sister, Vanvisa, co-owns Bida Manda Laotian Restaurant and Bar in downtown Raleigh. He studied Chemistry, Art and Design, and World Religious Studies at NC State University with the hope to become either a physician, a photographer, or a clothing designer. After many international service-learning experiences in more than 30 countries, Van switched his path entirely and went to Trinity College Dublin to study International Peace and Conflict Resolution concentrating in community building and nonviolent movements.
At the age of 25, Van returned to Raleigh in 2010 at the peak of the financial crisis and took another dramatic turn by opening one of the first Laotian Restaurants in the country in the controversial Moore Square District of downtown Raleigh.

El Dr. Eire es Profesor de Historia y Estudios Religiosos T. Lawrason Riggs de la Universidad de Yale. Nacido en La Habana, Cuba, vino a los Estados Unidos en el Programa Pedro Pan y se graduó de Bachiller en Artes en la Universidad de Loyola, Chicago (1973). Luego, en la Universidad de Yale obtuvo los grados de Master en Artes (1974), Master en Filosofía (1976) y PhD (1979). Él ha sido Jefe del Departamento de Estudios Religiosos de la Universidad de Yale (1999-2002), y ha recibido entre otros honores el título de Doctor Honoris Causa en “Humane Letters” en la Universidad Midland, Fremont, Nebraska (2013) y en la Universidad de Massachusetts, Darmouth (2015). Dr. Eire es autor de 6 libros, entre los cuales se encuentran Waiting for Snow in Havana: Confessions of a Cuban Boy (The Free Press, 2003) que ha sido traducido a 12 idiomas incluyendo el español, y Learning to Die in Miami (Free Press, 2010) también traducido al español. Dr. Eire ha publicado numerosos trabajos académicos y ha dictado múltiples conferencias en los Estados Unidos y Europa.

Le château de Weimar (Residenzschloss en allemand) brûla 3 fois en 3 siècles et fut donc successivement construit et reconstruit dans un style médiéval, Renaissance puis baroque italien. Les rois de Saxe-Weimar y vécurent jusqu’en 1918. Aujourd’hui le château accueille un musée d’art dont les collections s’étendent du Moyen âge au début du XXème siècle.

als das jaz in den 90ern im rosengarten in einem alten kindergarten stand, wurden von dort straße für straße rostock von den faschos freigekämpft. dafür war das jaz in den 90ern noch gut, aber die punks in der innenstadt gefielen der stadt dann doch nicht. das gefährdete die touristische attraktivität. also ging es an den rand eines verwahrlosten bahnhofs (so sah der 1904 aus: alturl.com/jttdz). selbst dort war das jaz nie club, sondern kernerfahrung alternativer kultur. doch mit den neuen wohnungen im friedrich-franz-bahnhof geht auch das nicht mehr. das jaz wird nun abgerissen und auf dem gelände entsteht -- ein kindergarten. in dieser unheimlichen stadt kann alles an lautstärke gemessen werden.

This magnificently graceful bird of prey is unmistakable with its reddish-brown body, angled wings and deeply forked tail. It was saved from national extinction by one of the world's longest running protection programmes, and has now been successfully re-introduced to England and Scotland.

Family: Hawks and eagles (Accipitridae)
Where to see them:
At one time confined to Wales, a reintroduction scheme has brought them back to many parts of England and Scotland. Central Wales, central England - especially the Chilterns, central Scotland - at Argaty, and along the Galloway Kite Trail are the best areas to find them.
When to see them: All year round.
What they eat:
Mainly carrion and worms, but opportunistic and will occasionally take small mammals.

Well, I went up to get my interview today but instead of giving us the interview, they decided to give us a tour of the factory. OMG, it stank. >_>. But the money is really good. Met some pretty interesting people when I was up there. I may have been the youngest applicant with less experience than the others, but I'm pretty sure I'm qualified due to my witty ambitions. But all that will be proven when I get called for the actual interview Monday or Tuesday. Very long and exhausting day tbh.
Plus side, I watched the premiere of the new Harry Potter movie with Kurt. It was pretty okay. A lot better than the other movies I must say. Made much more sense. After that, we went roaming around the town since the thrill of the movie was just that good. I absolutely recommend it. Then we headed off to Kurt's house and I pretty much explained how sex worked to his little brother the entire night. Don't judge me.
In yesterday's photo as I mentioned about the little photo shoot. I never got to do it because of how long it took for this tour to go by. I was very disappointed, especially with all the inspiration I had in mind. But here's this simple boring portrait I did. Enjoy.
