I work on a computer for my day job and I've found that when I spend even more time on the computer doing comics after hours, my hands and wrist start killing me and/or go numb. Which makes it impossible to work extra, let alone my 40+ for Hallmark.
So, I'm having to color these with watercolor rather than digitally. (You can see the pre-colored version here.) This is a big adjustment I'm forced to make, as it takes much, much more time, especially over the long haul. (ie. not being able to create a consistant digital palette across all the art, having to compensate for the blackline if and when it gets printed, etc.)
But it is what it is. I have no choice.
