It wasn't the best of sunrises and the wind was thwarting any chance of a good reflection, but after getting up at 5, sneaking out of the hotel without waking the kids and driving for an hour I wasn't going to go back to the hotel without something!

When you place your heart in the palm of someone else’s hand, you are saying “I trust you with my most-prized possession.” You know they can either roll their fingers into a fist and break your heart in pieces; or place their hand on top of their beating heart.
That is the beauty and tragedy of love.

The famous French explorer and oceanographer Jacques-Yves Cousteau appointed Palmarola as "The most Beautiful Island in the Mediterranean Sea".
