Funny shaped rock formation out in the middle of the prairie. How was it formed? I know a little about that but it was before my time. Kansas was an ocean a few years back.

Found another one for those of you who asked for some more depth of field shots! I don't have that many, and maybe I will make it a point to shoot some more like this one.
This is one from my photowalk last month with Tyler Sharp. We were taking a little break on the Clemente Bridge when I saw this written there, and decided to shoot off a 3 exposure HDR. I like how even the gum on the ground got bokeh-ed! That's PNC Park in the background.
(Also, not trying to send any kind of messages here...just photographing what I see...not saying these are my beliefs or yours...just taking pictures...)
Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!
I don't mind invitations, but please no big, shiny, flashing, glitter graphics, they will be deleted. Also, please contact me if you would like to use my pictures for any reason, as all rights are reserved. Thanks!

Panoramic view from Urambi Hills toward the Brindabella mountains at sunset. I don't think I have ever seen the countryside this green. I guess we should make the most of it before the bushfire season sets in!
After what seemed an eternity waiting at Delanson, NY for a meet with NS train 934, Conrail heritage 8098 leads train 205 upgrade on the former D&H at Howes Caves, NY on the final day of February 2015. A big thanks to Jim Connor, John Sesonske, Tim Stockwell, and Gary Schmerhorn for keeping me and Zach informed making a great day trip for us.
To have this view every night.
Another unplanned-first-time-being-here-and-getting-the-results kind of hunting. Thanks to Yuddin for bringing us here and the rest for making this milky way hunting a success.
fabio's photo reminded me of this

it would probably be better cropped square
Around midday now the sun gets up high enough in the sky to be able to see/place it behind the top of a pylon while standing on the Tilikum Crossing bridge; when it's lower in the sky you have to find a place off the bridge to place it similarly. It's interesting how the perspective from the point of view above makes the halo appear much smaller than the bridge, where as from a location off the bridge (see first comment below) the halo appears almost as large as than the whole span of the bridge. My second time, in a long time, when I've edited a photo with selective colour but today, I did just that!!
On a very rainy day we "foolishly" took the kids to Kelburn Park and yes we all got soaked!!

Due to how flat Norfolk is there is a stunning elongated dusk with glorious winter light here filtered through the bare beech trees at How Hill
It's Rodeo time in Tucson and as we have done in years before we're parking cars in our lodge parking lot.

The money we raise goes out to community projects we have like providing school supplies to South Tucson's community K-12 charter school.
What you're seeing here is a pregame strategy meeting with the brethren, planning out the best way to get our parking lot filled.
Nah, it's actually all the brothers sitting around, drinking coffee, and wondering how long it's going to be before breakfast is served. There's not a strategy to parking cars, we just jam them in till we're full!
The Rodeo lasted 4 days and we were full all 4. This means plenty of notebooks, pencils, paper and crayons for the kids at Southgate Academy.
I wore this sequined skirt for New Year with a Christmas jumper and it got me thinking to when I last wore it. After much searching I found a pic of me wearing it from around 20-years ago! Good thing though is that it made me realise I must turn out my wardrobes of clothes I haven't worn for a very long time. Also, In looking I rediscovered many pre-digital era prints I had scanned so expect to see more 'memory lane' pics in the coming weeks!
How does one feel about national identity ?
Personally, Iโd identify myself mainly as Scottish, then European - though occasionally British (currently with a degree of embarrassment, sadly)
Steps 1-7 in order:
1. Tape (no further information available).
2. Tights to hold the hip pads in place.
3. Padding to smooth the pubis area.
4. 'Big Girl' silicone hip pads.
5. Butt shaper pants (padded).
6+7. Spanx (2 pairs).

Ely Cathedral, Ely, Cambridgeshire
How distant, the departure of young men
Down valleys, or watching
The green shore past the salt-white cordage
Rising and falling.
Cattlemen, or carpenters, or keen
Simply to get away
From married villages before morning,
Melodeons play
On tiny decks past fraying cliffs of water
Or late at night
Sweet under the differently-swung stars,
When the chance sight
Of a girl doing her laundry in the steerage
Ramifies endlessly.
This is being young,
Assumption of the startled century
Like new store clothes,
The huge decisions printed out by feet
Inventing where they tread,
The random windows conjuring a street.
Philip Larkin
I'm not sure how to feel now. It's natural for me to want to be nice and give and trust. My first initial reaction is to open my arms and embrace; however, my head is telling me to not let my heart win this time. I am strong, but I am not unbreakable. I hide my feelings, but I am not unemotional. My skin has thickened, but I am still sensitive when it comes to love. I'm not putting up my guard because I'm bitter and hard; it's so I don't become that way. I honestly don't know if I could repair another cut. I don't think I should open up.
But I will.
I made it wear a dress so short that she couldn't even move or bend or sit. I adore when she is inappropriately attired for her age. Makes people laugh at her even more.
