A quartet of CSX EMDs had an eastbound rock job rolling along the B&O at Point of Rocks on a warm morning in 2008.
The "Dark Future" paint job was starting to show itself as seen on the second motor; the shopping cart [CSX] logo would soon be saturating the fleet.
How exciting to find an echidna on our afternoon bushwalk, I have never seen one of these in the wild before so it was quite a treat.
Lots of catching up to do as we have been away with no internet for a few days.
I didn't realize at the time how involved this one was going to be. Just wasn't happy with it and kept working on it.
Not all the steps are here because I didn't realize how far this one would go. This is probably a third of all the steps.
I came close to scraping it...it just wasn't working for me.
Hope you like the finished product.

Leo. How I love this age of uninhibited joyful smiles, excited but uncoordinated flailing of limbs, and snuggly, softly-snoring naps.

It is pretty incredible how these birds can fly/maneuver in the skies. This looks fake almost, but is 100% real. They were fighting a bit back and forth, and I managed to capture some of the action. Although it was about 1/4 mile away again, like my other image. Huge crop.
You live the life you're given with the storms outside
somedays all I do is watch the sky,
Today was a good day,
today was a good day.

Yesterday I found out that Jack's Mannequin is playing at my university next week. Words can't even begin to describe how excited I am.
Three text pictures in a row. I'm sorry. This will probably be the last one for a while.
Have you ever had one of those weeks where you just want your entire day to revolve around art? I am seriously driving myself crazy. I need to work with clay and get the clay under my nails. I need to paint a sucky watercolor picture. I just need to have a full out art day soon. I even miss sewing, which is weird because I never sew. Haha.
Tarn Hows sunset last week, just as the sun slipped behind Wetherlam. Does anyone else think the cloud looks like Woody the Woodpecker?
How many cats is too many? Don’t ask Mary—she doesn’t know! Her cat family hasn’t reached that number yet, if it even exists.
This Blythe doll is Song of London Mary, wearing a dress from WoollyRockers. This picture is for “Cats” in Blythe a Day on Flickr. The staircase is a home decor item meant to display collectibles; I found it at the antique mall. The background is a jigsaw puzzle. These flat wooden cats were the gifts in an Advent calendar a few years ago.
A street vendor selling chicken shish kebabs in Dhaka. The red ones have chili powder, kashmiri chili, and/or paprika in them, while the green ones have cilantro, green chili, and mint among other ingredients. Spicy all around! The population density in Bangladesh is such that every street photo you take is guaranteed to include more than your intended subjects. Sometimes it adds and at other times it detracts. See if you can count a total of 8 people in this image.

Explore #315 - How long do my orchids last? These are some long lasting orchids that still survives in my garden. This Sopranos 3 whose color has deepen and add on a greenish hue has been around since early December making it more than it 3 months old!! And still going strong.

After how many years that I have had this secret colored pencil set from the stationery re-ment set, but terrified to play with it? I finally took the colored pencils out of their little plastic bags and put them into their special box...too many times trying for one shot today, and now time is out! Not really happy with this shot, but here it is!
I hope that everyone has the supplies to draw an Easter bunny! Happy Day! xo
