I don't know why I love shots like this ... strange old broad ... but love this common House Sparrow on the top of a parking garage. My Flickr friend, Joan, loves these birds. In Sebring, where I used to live, they ate me out of house and home at my bird feeders! I never had them here in God's garden, and I must say, that makes me thankful!
The wands of grass seed and colour in the bokeh make me think of fireworks as we approach the new year...
Hoping that 2021 will be a Happy Year for everyone.

Thanks to all who responded to my previous post about my sisters. We all get by with a little help from our friends.
I take these for granted because I see them every day all year long in my back yard. I think the males have lovely plummage though. it was nice to get this one in a different setting than my deck rail.
