Our customers love our Sorvino home plan, but we wanted to offer a version with some variations on the floor plan. Rather than separate dining and breakfast rooms, the Champlain has a single dining area off the kitchen. And we've added a luxurious screen porch with fireplace accessed from that dining area. There was an episode of Grand Designs Australia on British television recently (website www.lifestyle.com.au/granddesigns/episode-5-lake-bennett-...) about a couple building a tree house overlooking Lake Bennett, south of Darwin, Australia. It was an excellent episode, full of the kind of determined and creative characters that are so characteristic of the Northern Territory; worth watching if you get a chance.
Anyway, I'm not sure if the house in the distance is the one they were building, but it might be - it looks distinctive enough and their house did overlook this lake. There are a number of unique homes and holiday cottages in the area. I really enjoyed my visit to this place and canoeing around the lake with Jill.
