This is one of my favourites - the lovely red one!! :~)

Monster Energy edition. New paint, decals and rubber tires.

It does look like a Hotwheels cars. It's actually a Hamann MemoR or something like that, which is actually just a Mclaren MP4-12C with a massive body kit.

This is Matt's idea (he's a brainy lad!!) :~)

Down by the Seaside - Led Zeppelin

Down by the seaside

See the boats go sailin'

Can the people hear

What the little fish are sayin'

Oh, oh, the people turned away

Oh, the people turned away

Down in the city streets,

See all the folk go racin', racin'

No time left, to pass the time of day

The people turned away

The people turned away

So far away, so far away

See how they run, see how they run,

See how they run, see how they run

Do you still do the twist

Do you find you remember things that well

I want to tell you

Some go twistin' every day

Though sometimes it's awful hard to tell

Out in the country,

Hear the people singin'

Singin' 'bout…

Newest addition to my collection

I played with HotWheels as a kid. The looping tracks were so much fun to send the cars through. I can remember playing outside, building a small city, with dirt roads for the cars to “drive” around on. Too bad there are no photos. I used bricks and rocks to represent buildings and snapped off pieces of shrubbery to stick in the ground to represent trees. Thanks for the memory in this weeks theme.

This toy belongs to a friends 4 year old son, who gave me this and another toy car to photograph in London a few months ago. So cool how the paint is chipped and looks like it has been played with. I haven’t retuned them yet after my trip, and was happy to use HotWheels in this weeks theme. HMM

This is a multiple photo manipulation of a shot I took yesterday of the boardwalk at Mead Botanical Garden. Phew ...

I got my new hotwheels so after a dreadful first appointment with the Speech Therapist I went anyway on my first planned Creation adventure-ish sorta' ... well I was outside anyway.

I hoped to be able to travel about this great place I used to love but it didn't work out so good. I did get to walk the "whole" boardwalk. And the butterfly garden ... but the sand in spots halted my plans (as my friend Wayne told me it might). When I got to the end of the boardwalk, my new AWFUL memory and cognitive problems got me lost. Should have turned around and walked right back the way I came.

I got scared and was pooped as I had to carry this heavy walker for a bit. I don't like being afraid ...

Anyway, I will persevere. I hope I can remember better next time.

Thank You, Jesus, for a first Creation adventure in years. I tried.

Romans 5:3-5 NIV Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

This has rubber treaded tyres and the detail is spot on.This is my 3rd T-HUNT I'd rather have a 34 Ford than anything with its engine in the back.

Hot Wheels

I’ve been stuck in bit of a rut.

Hoping to get it in gear and get back on a roll.

Making magic with a macro lens. My set up was a couple of small lights, metallic backgrounds and hot wheel cars, all done without using PHOTOSHOP as I am not a fan of it.
