Hotswappable compute modules. Labels on each unit read: "AMD 64 Opteron", "CRAY XT4 COMPUTE MODULE", "XT4 CPM2", "P/N 1000075300", "2.3 Quad Core / 2GB (800) / 16", "RELEASE LEVER TO INITIATE HOT SWAP". Each is labelled with a unique numeric identifier, "04 01", "04 02", etc. from bottom to top and left to right. Each also has a strip of paper with a unique alphanumeric string taped to it. Most units are labelled "2.2 MEZZ", while some are labelled "2.1 MEZZ". Each unit includes a white RS-232 serial port, probably for some type of management device.

All thee of the cages are labelled, the cables for their front fans are labelled, the connector for the SATA power splitters are labelled per cage... Each disk is labelled on both sides as are both ends of every single SATA cable...

Fault finding in this thing is going to be an absolute synch. Which is important in this design as the drives aren't hotswappable and so a whole cage must be removed to replace a single drive. havign every cable labelled up makes disconnecting and reconnecting things very quick and easy.

Notes on the sanwa mod:

- Switches are lighter than the stock sanwa switch, meaning the buttons are very light and easy to actuate for high APM play such as in Melee

- Position of switches means they are semi actuated, shortening the throw before a press is registered. On top of there being less travel to the button press, the controller is extremely responsive as a result

- Marginally reduced overall depth of the buttons, allowing for a slimmer design than with the legs on the stock sanwas

- Soldered all circuitry to Kailh hotswap sockets, meaning that buttons are still hotswappable... technically :)
