Walkers strolling along the Boardwalk in the Yellowstone's Midway Geyser Basin. The Grand Prismatic Spring is magnificent as seen from the chalky, steep, treacherous hill to it's SW.
The Opal and Turquoise pools are above it with the Excelsior pool steaming to the right.

Finnish Sauna
Sauna finlandais : 30 mn dans la vapeur à 90°C du sauna, puis quelques secondes dans la rivière à travers un trou dans la glace (... en bas à droite).
Le plus dur : descendre pieds nus (... le reste aussi quasiment ...) jusqu'à la rivière sur une pente glacée ...
Yellowstone's Norris Geyser Basin is the hottest spot in the park, closest to the hot magma not far below. Pictured here is the Colloidal Pool in the Porcelain Basin of this large geothermal wonder.
Quite the memorable experience walking thru here with all the geysers, boiling pools and fumaroles belching sulphuric steam. I found it a bit eerie, yet can't wait to return.....

This greenhouse caught my attention and offered an ideal photo opportunity.Wonderful depth, shadows and plenty of lines and diagonals in the structure.The glass roof reflecting the plants on the benches.The only thing the image doesn't portray is the heat of the hot house. Taken at the National Trust property at Tyntesfield House.
