This is a beautiful spot that left me mesmerized for several hours one evening. I find staring at the ocean similar to staring at a fire. (though fire seems to have a stronger effect on me than the ocean) There's something about the randomness of the repeating patterns that keeps my interest and sucks me into a dreamlike state.
This is 299 photos combined into one image using the lighten layer-blending mode in photoshop. I used this script (advancedstacker.com) to automate the process, I also stacked the first 50 photos with the "streaks" script to soften the transition.

A processed shot for the HDTR photo outing with my colleagues from Fotentia (the photography club at Autentia.com).
This shot has been processed with HDTR JS script for Photoshop (available for free at github.com/dgomezg/hdtr-photoshop-js This is a development in course I'm doing for fun, so the script is not stable at the moment, but you can use it to give HDTR a try.
I have a slide set at slideshare explaining how the whole process (from image capture to final process) works. You can check it at www.slideshare.net/dgomezg/hdtr-psjs
Enjoy and let me know if you want to try HDTR.

When I saw the palm trees silhouetted against the early morning colors, it screamed California to me. I captured a few frames in both horizontal and vertical and chose one of each that had the most interesting water in the foreground.
Timbers from the Old National Stadium used to made the furniture place at the Marina Bay waterfront promenade.
Knit with two of my handspun yarns, with a Suss yarn for the trim. Green yarn: spun from "Mediterranean" batt from loop.etsy.com. White yarn: white merino with slubs from a spontaneous spinning batt, also by loop, with felted nubbles spun in.
I did NOT forget to turn the photo . The water drops of the sprinkler system fly with high speed also horizontally and then they freeze like this :-)
As proof I uploaded the following photo too.
