Reno is the youngest brother of Daniela, Olivia, Eva and Isabel. What a
sweet happy child. Enough to melt your heart in an instant. When I went
to the house, with Marguerite ( Colochon's 17 year old sister who works
part-time for EI ), hoping to photograph him he wasn't at home. Later, as
we continued on down the road, I heard a little shout.... turned around......
and there he was running to catch up with us. I had to smile. The look on
his face as he approached told me that he knew exactly where he was
going & what for...."It's my turn to have my photo taken" :)) He's adorable

During the day there was a beautiful presence of a very peaceful and soothing energy. It was easy to just rest in. As the day went on this presence grew to be very tangeable and all of the group felt quite touched by it. Here Jay was using a Tibetan singing bowl, one of three that were sounding at the time, to accompany overtone singing, a style of singing where harmonics are created by the voice. These harmonics contain frequencies that are especially good at carrying intent and energy.
The nice thing about working in a group in this way is the sense of communal action and willingness to do something positive. It gives you so much hope about human nature. We all have gifts and a potential to give of oursleves in ways that reflect our deepest nature. We are not powerless to help this planet and the family of humanity that is struggling a little at this time, in fact we have more power to help than we dream of.

This little one, Elena, is perhaps the epitome of the happiness that the
vast majority of the children I met in the barrio villa esperanza exhibited.
She laughed and giggled the whole time I was in the yard of her home.
No toys, no treats, no mickey mouse....just happy to be alive, it seemed.

Olivia......seems serious, taking the second oldest girl's role of responsibility perhaps.

The following series of shots were all taken at Avebury Stone Circle where a group led by Jayson Stilwell took part in a sound healing session for the planet. I will write more about each photo over the following few days, as and when I have time, so check back if you are interested in hearing more about it.

Silbury hill is the biggest man made Neolithic structure in Europe and is a site of considerable interest. These fields have seen so many crop circles over the last decade (for example). It has many sacred sites. The surrounding area has that sense of mystery to it.

Part of the day also involved sharing the energy that was generated with eachother, so setting up a cycle of giving and receiving. When we give we also make a space to receive. Most people left the day feeling more nourished and fulfilled than when they arrived. Despite the intense sunshine and lack of shade and the focus and concentration that was needed we all felt uplifted at the end of the day.

When that deep peace settles within you, perspective changes and new possibilities of perception and being come to light. The limitations and challenges of everyday life fall into insignificance and a new vision takes their place. When we come to this peace we resonate it into the world, we become the peace that the world needs so badly. It is not a philosophical peace but an experiential event. We become peace and that is a tremendous gift to these times.
A church building is not just a place for the congregation to meet – but a visible testimony of God to the community. Read a story about God answered prayer during the construction of one church building.
