For me this laundry thing is something very Italian... You walk on an alley and suddenly smell something fresh and flowery - you look up and see somebody hanging the laundry. Lovely! And practical as well, I guess. In Finland you could never do this, with the moody weather and our supersafe superboring triple windows. Not to mention some city regulations that would propably prohibit it...

If it's Tuesday, then Trent has a writing assignment. He really turns this into a huge ordeal and takes much, much longer than he should. Rather than being frustrated tonight, I used the extra time to set up a light and snap lots of pictures.

This week's Weekly Photo thing or Project or whatever I'm calling it is what I've spent most of this (and last) week doing. Homework. The sheet displayed above is from Japanese, a class I was aces in last semester but am currently struggling through. Add learning a non-Romance language to 3 physics courses and an english course and I have a busy semester ahead of me. Hopefully it will be my last hard push and Senior year will be a bit more relaxed.
Also in the shot is my phone, an HTC Incredible (maybe I'll go into Android v. Apple later in the year when hungry for subjects). Since I don't trust myself to have my laptop on for homework, my phone works as a temporary diversion tool for when I need to relax with Angry Birds or a Youtube video.

After this was marked and the child brought it home, she returned to school the next day with the following note:
Dear Ms. Davis,
I want to be very clear on my child's illustration. It is NOT of me on a dance pole on a stage in a strip joint. I work at Home Depot and had commented to my daughter how much money we made in the recent snowstorm. This drawing is of me.... selling a shovel.
