A Mexican stew - ground beef & potatoes make this a hearty meal.

The hamburger, zucchini, tomato, potato chips (background), yogurt, cucumbers, garlic, mint, and pita were all from Trader Joe's

prepared and cooked by my wife. Lami sa? :)

The potatoes & carrots are from the farmer's market. The peas, corn, and ground beef are organic.

Frittata with potatoes, spinach, yellow, red, and green peppers, sliced ham, and cheddar and mozzerella cheeses

I was given a jar of homemade Chilli sauce aptly named ( Shit Hot) I have been using it as a dipping sauce but even for me ( I can eat Jalapenos straight from the jar) it was HOT. So today with the weather being really cold (14 degrees haha) I decided to heat things up and made this hum dinger pot of Chilli Con Carne. It is a ripper alright. Can't wait for dinner tonight

Jerk seasoned Portobello Mushroom Sandwich topped with a Fresh Avocado dressing and Pineapple slice accompanied by Potato Salad with Radishes and Organic Chives

Apple and Cherry Oatmeal Crisp (Vegan)

Italian grilled cheese: Ricotta, fresh mozzerella, italian seasoning, garlic, & olive oil on Tuscan bread. The hot & savory soup is complemented well by the crusty & chewy sandwich. An excellent meal for a night where the temperature is about -10F.

Made with organic ground beef. Served with Trader Joe's Crinkle cut fries and organic corn.

The Kousa (baby squash stuffed with lamb, rice, and spices) is from Emily's in Saint Clair Shores, MI.

Potatoes, carrots, & sage all came from the Mount Clemens Farmer's Market.

 

The Au Jus on the potatoes is from the roast and has red wine and onions.

Panzanella (Florentine Salad with Greens, Wholw Wheat Focaccia Squares, Campari Tomatoes, Cucumber, Onion, Kalamata Olives, Celery, Garlic, Sun Flower Seeds,Thyme and Parsley)

Peanut Butter and Local Organic Mysore Banana Oatmeal Squares topped with a slice of Dragon Fruit (Vegan)

A mixture of wild rice, potatoes, pinto beans, onions, and spices were scooped into a hollowed our butternut squash

Main course

Sweet Spinach, Almond and Cranberry Salad with Feta Cheese served with a side of Grilled Plantains and half a Jerk Spiced Organic Hard Boiled Egg
