Summmerrrrrrr blawrgiiing! --> A Place Called Kokomo.

Lots of pics in this series. I went a bit nuts with decor, because I was totally NOT trying to show off and impress my Man, who is not in SL. XD

See the rest of the pics in this album. :D

Parco Bugis Junction is Singapore’s first glass-covered air-conditioned shopping street and a modern complex. It boasts a mix of shophouses, modern retain outlets, a sprawling Japanese department store, Seiyu and a Cineplex. Electronic items to clothes, knick-knacks and accessories can be found here.

🍹Guess what made the MadPea Bar Cart ditch mixology for stand-up comedy? It wanted to prove it's not just good at shaking drinks but can also stir up laughter!😜

🔥Meet the MadPea Bar Cart Set – the life of the party where style meets spirits, now strutting its stuff at Access!🔥

Become the ultimate mix-master with this dapper, fully stocked sidekick that's ready to bring the gin and the giggles! Did we mention it is PBR material compatible too?

SL is a reflection of our real desires. What do I desire now? I desire summer and to be nowhere in the city. (It's winter here my side of the world).

Except for the rug from junk which is available as a gacha prize at this month's Arcade, nothing in this picture is new release. It's like summoning old friends for a morning of relaxation, something I'll be needing badly this week. <3

Just came across this shot in a shoebox of pictures

The design of this altered house include a combination of my favorites 3 carfts areas:

scrapbook, polymer clay, sewing!

* Scrapbook: Doodlebug house, Tilda's papers, Prima floweres, Bazzill cardstocks.

* Polymer clay: Blue and Green Dragonflies, Pins Cushion with 2 Sewing Pins and Needle on top.

* Sewing: Inspiration by the style of the book "Sew Pretty Homestyle" - Tone Finnanger.

Here is Egg Benedict (whole egg) with Hollandaise sauce. The rest of us had a healthy version made with scrambled egg whites only.

Excerpt: This station is Singapore's oldest fire station that opened in 1909. Today, it houses the Singapore Civil Defence Force, the Fire Brigade's successor, with its state-of-the-art fire-fighting equipment. The station is open to the public on Saturday mornings. Hill Street, Singapore.

Tiny Bungalow Kitchen. Yep. Washing dishes in the afternoon requires sunglasses. There's also a great view of the chickens.

This is my version of sambal cockles after eating them in KL, West Malaysia. Really, this turned out to be pretty good. I had used some of the pre-prepared sambal blachan that ER and I cooked for “popiah” lunch.

From Sew Pretty Homestyle

book

ER made use of some remaining radish cake to cook this meal. Yummy! This was different from hawkers’…more ingredients were used to prepare the radish cake and no chopped preserved radish was added.

A quick meal created from the bacon and turkey breast that Rika bought from the supermarket~

Master Paul Homestyle Bake

These are made from a pattern using the Tilda range of books by Tone Finnager, I just love her country inspired things and everything in the book has a free pattern! These adorable little houses are from the Sew Sunny Homestyle book - well worth a look!

These beancurd/tofu puffs are light and spongy.

I used them for "stuffed beancurd puffs". These are also commonly used in laksa/curry noodles, "rojak" and "kway chap", local dishes in SG.

1.5 story side gabled bungalow with gabled dormer, bump out on the right - most likely in the dining room. This type of roof line shows off your choice of shingles and type of roofing. Color coordination is important.
