I leave the walls about 1/4" thick to give the piece some good heft. The surface is pretty smooth without any sanding. I was careful to leave a good surface from the tool cuts. Finish sanding comes later.
Goode Hollow Christmas has been made possible this year because of 4 young peoples love and respect for the community. For the past 3 years they have handed out treats and small gifts to the young and old alike thanks to Santa, Mrs. Claus and their Helpers. Their greatest joy are the smiles that they bring to peoples faces. All gifts are purchesed by themseves or with the assistance of family members. Without these caring ang giving 4 people The Goode Hollow Christmas would not be. At this time they are already planning for next years ride
SOLDIER HOLLOW, Utah — For the first time in a number of years, the Utah National Guard hosted the National Guard Bureau Western Regional Biathlon Championships Feb. 5-6 at Soldier Hollow, Utah.
Civilians, members of the U.S. Army Reserve, and Airmen and Soldiers from the National Guards of Utah, Colorado, Nevada, Montana, Arizona, Oregon, Wyoming, Texas and Guam were among the competitors.
The contest was the first major biathlon event hosted at Soldier Hollow since the Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Winter Games.

Quail Hollow Park features over 700 acres of rolling meadows, marshes, pine and deciduous woods surrounding a 40-room house. Scenic woodland trails, gardens and the house offer a variety of natural and cultural experiences for visitors. Operating as a state park since 1975, Stark Parks began managing the park in January of 2016.
The former H.B. Stewart family home is used for educational and community programs and events. A visitor center is located within the home. Fishing is recommended at the 2-acre Shady Lane Pond. A valid Ohio fishing license is required. Picnic areas are located in the center of the park with tables, grills, and restrooms close by.
