Holiday bokeh...for Macro Monday

For Macro Mondays challenge: "Lit by Candlelight"

The whole composition was lit by 12 candles: 4 big and 8 little ones. A couple of them were placed on the both sides of the decorations, forming the background. It took me plenty of time to place the ornament and to lit it, the way I needed, to focus on it properly :)

Since I love bokeh and all the different kind of possibilities of it, I decided to do this once again.

Adeste, fideles,

Laeti triumphantes,

Venite, venite in Bethlehem!

Natum videte,

Regem angelorum

Venite, adoremus!

Venite, adoremus!

Venite, adoramus Dominum!

Venite, adoramus Dominum!

En grege relicto

Humiles ad cunas,

Vocati pastores adproperant,

Et nos ovanti,

Gradu festinemus.

Venite, adoremus!

Venite, adoremus!

Venite, adoramus…

Eines der schönsten Weihnachtslieder, für mich!

Euch allen ein gesegnetes und friedliches Weihnachtsfest und ein gutes 2019!

For Macro Mondays theme, “Bokeh” . This is a very tiny (1.5 cm) Wisteria bud, with bokeh from background Christmas lights...

I had a lot of fun setting everything up.

Shot with the Sony A7 Mark 2 and the MOG Trioplan 2.8/100 neo at F=2.8, at a Munich Christmas Market.

Macro Monday Redux 2016- Some of my favourite themes from the year. Combined a few more themes here including in a row and holiday bokeh ! A lovely Christmas present from my niece . Now it is time for the taste test !

Macro Mondays: Holiday Bokeh

Macro of a very small area of a crystal tea light candle holder bought in Upsala Sweden more than 15 years ago. Each of the larger 'bubbles' in the pattern is approximately 3/4" (19mm). The light from the flame is illuminating the crystal 'mounds' from the inside. The red bokeh in the background is a hand made red glass candle holder bought in Germany more than 10 years ago.

From Queen Elizabeth's 2016 Christmas message:

They ["ordinary people doing extraordinary things"] are an inspiration to those who know them, and their lives frequently embody a truth expressed by Mother Teresa, from this year Saint Teresa of Calcutta. She once said, 'Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.'"

And to all as this year draws to an end:

Best wishes for the new year.

Meilleurs voeux pour la nouvelle année.

Mis mejores deseos para el año nuevo.

I migliori auguri per il nuovo anno.

Bedste ønsker for det nye år.

Beste wensen voor het nieuwe jaar.

Onnea uudelle vuodelle.

Beste Wünsche für das neue Jahr.

De beste ønsker for det nye året.

I am doing the whole, taking pictures and not liking them thing again! I am not sure if it is because my inspiration is failing or what? Lets hope I can continue to get a shot for each day! :)
