Another from the holiday in Shierke, Central Germany, down by the reservoir and off into the distance was this very high rising Hot Air Balloon, and here I will admit to a slight phobia, I am really not good with heights, so I guess I will probably not ever get into one.

Though I can imagine the view must be spectacular, which would open itself to an absolute plethora of high altitude photography without the need for drones but instead to actually be there holding the camera, or in my case, holding the camera with increasingly shaky hands.

It may be another cloudy day, but spring has sprung at Duplainville, as Lonnie captured a northbound Soo Line freight crossing The Milwaukee Road's La Crosse Division with a rather interesting consist of a SD40-2, F7 and a SW1200, while holding at the eastbound home signal with his freight led by a venerable GP9.
