Hobro - Homestead of the vikings
Hobro is an exciting city full of art and culture to explore. Hobro is the homestead of the Vikings and there has been made several archeological founds from the Viking age in the area. At Vikingecenter Fyrkat you can see a reconstruction of a Viking village and several times during the year, you can meet “real” Vikings at Fyrkat.

The German topsail schooner Albatros sailed northwards last night in Öresund. She was on her way from Copenhagen to Juelsminde (DK).The 35.70 m (LOA) x 6.87 m Albatros was built in 1942 in Hobro, Denmark. Oak was used for her hull. She is now operated by the CLIPPER, Deutsches Jugendwerk society as a training ship.
