It's a traditional game to be played at birthday parties in Germany: "Topfschlagen", or "Hit the pot". The seeking, blindfold child must crawl around the floor, banging a spoon on any object it comes across, to find an overturned cooking pot with a prize (e. g. a sweet) inside. The other children help by crying out "warm,” “hot,” or “cold” depending on how near or far the seeker is from the pot.

Somehow this shot made exlpore #1 for a few hours on arpil 29th 2009...........mustve been a slow day....lol

This UP special ran over the Moffat. The train was called in Grand Junction at 10:30pm the night before and actually made amazing time. Was hoping to get a few shots of the train on the Moffat, but it was in Denver by 7:00am and had a new crew called at 8:15am.

I created this little hard hitter last night, and he is hitting it hard! BAM!

Para quem não conhece, Andarella é uma marca de calçados que, uns 5 anos atrás, aderiu à ~modinha de vender esmaltes personalizados, combinando com as coleções que a marca lançava, e eu, ná epoca ainda ~sonhando em conseguir ao menos um vidrinho de cada marca que aparecesse na minha frente, comprei este, que ficou esperando a vez até ontem. =P

Depois de tanto tempo a fórmula continua com cheiro e consistência inalterados; é bem pigmentada e ótima de trabalhar, cobriu bem com duas camadas e tem uma cor linda, roxo frio escuro, levemente acinzentado; tem bom brilho, para um cremoso, mas fica mais bonito com TC, que passei para acelerar a secagem, pois como nada nessa vida é perfeito, o tempo foi inclemente com este fator.

Logo que acabei de limpar, esbarrei em alguma coisa que amassou a pontinha de duas unhas, mas fotografei antes de remendar e passar o flakie, e quando acabei a ~sessão de fotos, a esmaltação do polegar estava destruída, pq ele AINDA não havia secado (mesmo com o TC), e precisou ser refeita. =(

Deixei ficar o restante do sábado ~secando e no domingo passei o Poderosa, que tem flakies pequenos e delicados, nas cores azul, verde e laranja, em base transparente. Ele é tranquilo de aplicar e espalha fácil e uniformemente os floquinhos pela unha, e como eu não queria muito carregado, uma camada foi suficiente.

Secou rápido e com bastante brilho, o que achei meio ~over, então matifiquei e adorei o resultado, pena que não durou muito, aliás, na foto dos coments dá pra ver que as pontinhas já estavam desgastadas e, como diz a Claudia _Freitas, a vida é muito curta para se ficar com esmalte desgastado/descascado, o que eu concordo plenamente auhaehu.

Summer 2015: "Up was Down"

July 1st: Olympic National Park: Ozette to Rialto.

A hard tackle. I had to move in order not to get hit. I like the captured sweat that came off of the defensive player.

My Mississippi homie, Dent May, is always up to something goofy. He’s moving into a new place and is planning on building a studio, “Hits Incorporated,” and wanting the logo to be a rip of Kids Inc. So what you see here is a 7 minute photoshop job, that will likely get some future thought.

First light hitting the sea cliffs of Royal National Park in Sydney. I've been trying for ages to find some nice light to show up the rock that looks like a falcon-head, but my favourite part of the image is the way that the headland is reflected in the water.

Flipped the light switch on in the laundry room and figured this could make a nice pic.

We've hit one of our last milestones on my Thomas the Tank Engine IDEAS project. With now over 9.000 supporters, I thought I'd share an engine you probably weren't expecting. The magical engine from Shining Time Station, this is my version of Lady from Thomas and the Magic Railroad.

For this engine specifically, I thought it would be fun to give Lady her realistic firebox instead of her face as a reference to the movie (and because I couldn't design a face that worked with the 4x4 dish). Besides that, she also comes with 2 new printed pieces as well as a detailed interior, though with some creative liberties.
