La E-1111 tira de un vacío de fosfatos Safí-Benguerir a su paso por la localidad de Ouled Khalf Allah, entre las estaciones de Bidane y Youssoufia.
Con esta toma, tachaba definitivament de mi lista estas emblemáticas locomotoras que tantas ganas tenía de fotografiar.
La formación del tren turístico Lago Titicaca encabezado por la locomotora diésel Hitachi serie 1000 alias "La Japonesa" rumbo a la industrial localidad de Viacha con destino final en la localidad de El Alto mientras en el lejano horizonte se cernía una imponente nevada sobre el nevado Chacaltaya de 5.421 msnm.
Contraste de luces, geografía y colores en el corazón del altiplano.

Taormina,
hybrydowa jednostka HTR412 w obsłudze przyspieszonego pociągu osobowego RV 5391 z Messyny do Syrakuz zbliża się do stacji Taormina-Giardini. Pociąg jedzie jednotorową linią wkomponowaną pomiędzy miejscowe zabudowania, których większość stanowią hotele i apartementy do wynajęcia, a miejscową plażę "Spiaggia di Isola Bella". Tytułowa trójmodalna jednostka może być zasilana napięciem stałym 3kV, za pomocą silnika diesla lub akumulatora. Docelowo na Sycylię mają trafić 22 jednostki tego typu.

La japonesa al frente del tren turístico procedente de El Alto, rumbo a Guaqui (Lago Titicaca), efectúa parada en el lugar arqueológico de Tiwanaku, donde los pasajeros podrán conocer además de los icónicos monolitos, acerca la cultura tiwanakota, de origen preincaico y de influencia en el denominado "Kollasuyo" el cual abarcaba los actuales países de Perú, Bolivia, Chile y Argentina.
En la imagen, con las vetustas agujas y el añejo letrero de Puma Punku "Puerta del Puma" a donde la veterana locomotora espera viajar en una próxima vida.

La locomotora diesel Hitachi 1014 BBB maniobra con un mercancías a los pies del activo Volcán Ollague de 5.870 msnm para posteriormente encaminarse a la frontera con Chile; concretamente a la pequeña localidad de Ollague a recoger un tren de contenedores vacío para tras formar con un coche de pasajeros; salir a primera hora de la tarde con el tren mixto rumbo a la localidad de Uyuni.

66751 'Inspiration Delivered' slowly pulls out of the test centre at Asfordby on 25th September 2015 with 800002 in tow. Not sure why but I think it was a turning move for the Class 800
Part of an 'Urban Art' series I did in 2005 while I was in Wellington NZ....around the time I became v. interested in cranes and diggers and elec poles. I found these prints on a disc which made me really homesick for New Zealand
I managed to pop into York station for a little while yesterday, the winter light was wonderfull, couldn't resist getting a shot of a passing Azuma under the great canopy of the station.
I recall the excitement of seeing a new Azuma for the fist time, in its grey base coat. A sleek stealthy machine fit the modern railway. That excitement soon changed to boredom, they are bland and characterless, passive almost. Give me a gutsy brute of a wedge of HST any day.

Chantier de la chatière, la création d’un nouvel accès fluvial à Port 2000 dans le port du Havre. En la estacion de Oruro, aquel dia se daban cita los expresos Wara Wara y Del Sur, para cumplir su servicio hacia la frontera de Villazon y el importante nucleo turístico de Uyuni.
La via metrica luce imponente con esta veterana locomotora, que como detalle, luce en la parte superior del testero, el emblema de la antigua República de Bolivia.
