Work progresses on building the basement wall forms. The basement door has been framed in, at the left side of the photo.
As the backhoe removed earth, the bobcat began to pile it where the cinder block addition of the annex used to be. This earth will eventually be used to backfill around the basement walls.

A post and beam assembly is laid down on the subflooring using a hoist and man-power. Working inside during the months of January and February, the beams were cleaned and checked for soundness.
