Cinderella, for her twenty years,
Is the prettiest of all children.
Her handsome lover,
Prince Charming,
Takes her away on his white horse.
She forgets time,
In his palace of riches
Not noticing a new day dawning,
She shuts her eyes,
And in her dreams,
She goes.
Pretty little story.
Cinderella, for her thirty years,
Is the saddest of all mothers.
Prince Charming
Has fucked off
With Sleeping Beauty.
She saw a hundred white horses
Taking her children far from her.
She begins to drink,
Frequent the bars
Wrapped up in her despair,
She wanders the streets.
She goes.
Pretty little story.
Ten years of this life were enough
For her to become a junkie.
And in a neverending sleep,
Cinderella sees the end of her life.
The lights dance
In the ambulance
But she kills her last chance
None of it is important anymore.
She goes.
End of story.
Our Father who is so old,
Have you really done your best?
For when the land is in the sky,
Your angels don't like to become old

Here is the History of the rose "Madame Meilland" or "PEACE ROSE":
The history of "Peace Rose" and how it came about is a fascinating story wich is well worth telling.
In 1935, the French rose breeder Françis Meilland chose fifty seedlings from his seed beds. One of which was labelled 3-35-40. Over the next few years, F. Meilland watched its development with interest and planned to launch the new rose as "Madame Antoine Meilland" in honour of his mother.
However, a few months later, Hitler invaded France and the future of the rose nursery looked dire. To ensure that the new rose was not lost forever, F. Meilland managed to get 3 parcels of budwood out of the country, one of which was smuggled out in a diplomatic bag on the last plane out of France. The budwood was sent to another rose breeder, Robert Pyle, in Pensylvania, USA.
Over the next few years, F. Meilland launched his new rose in France as "Madame Antoine Meilland". He was not aware that some of the budwood had reached Germany, and Italy and the rose was being sold under different names. In Germany, it was called "Gloria Dei", and in Italy "Gioia".
F. Meilland had not had any word from America and had no idea the fate of his rose over there.
It was not untill liberation of France in 1945, that F. Meilland finally heard from Robert Pyle that the rose had survived the war and was being grown successfully.
In the meantime, F. Meilland had decided to change the name of the rose. He wrote to Field Marshall Alan Brooke to thank him for his part in the liberation of France, and to ask him if he would give his name to the rose. The Field Marshall declined stating that a far more fitting name would be "PEACE".
The new name "Peace" was publicly announced in America by Robert Pyle on the 29th April 1945, the very day that Berlin fell and was officialy considered the end of Second World War in Europe.
Towards the end of 1945, "Peace Roses" were given to each of the delegations at the inaugural meeting of the UNITED NATIONS in San Francisco each with a note which read
"We HOPE THE "PEACE ROSE" WILL INFLUENCE MEN'S THOUGHTS FOR EVERLASTING WORLD PEACE"...
I will always have a rosebush "Peace Rose" in my garden...

For Macro Mondays - When I was a child...
When I was a child, I loved to imagine new stories and fantastic worlds, sometimes out of nothing.
As you can see, it's always the case today !
History :
Watchtower which in the Middle Ages will allow the surveillance of the Tournepiche bridge, the eschif was built in 1347 on the ramparts of Puy-Saint-Front (the medieval city corresponding to the historic center of Périgueux) at the foot of which Isle s 'flowed.
In 1929, the eschif was listed as a historical monument under the (erroneous) name of Moulin Saint-Front. This registration was canceled in 1977 and replaced by a classification as historical monuments.
It has belonged to the city of Périgueux since 1976
Architecture:
The eschif has retained its half-timbered walls and its cob. The building seems to stand miraculously on a thin support to which it is connected by struts on its two longitudinal facades.

History of the cave
The cave of Draye Blanche is located on La Chapelle-en-Vercors, near the forest south of the gigantic limestone massif. It was discovered in 1918 by an extraordinary man: Fabien Rey, nicknamed "Marseille". Fabien Rey, through its lifestyle and its unique character, had departed from the life of the village of La Chapelle. Rather solitary, he lived on the fringes of the village in a tiny hut, as the only company with thirty dogs, sometimes more. But the great passion of Marseille was nature: he paced dayly into nature and appreciated in complete autarky. One day he poached, one of his dogs came to the bottom of a drop scialet (name given to sinkholes in the Vercors). Marseille, little apprehensive, went down to his research into the cavity using a simple rope. He then perceived that the gulf overlooked a gallery: as soon after ascending the dog, Marseille went down to explore it with for any equipment a candle. He was amazed by what he had discovered ...
Equipment of the well and the lighting of the cave was completed in August 1970. Fabien Rey, then octogenarian could not hide his emotion when he first saw her completely illuminated cave. He could finally take the measure of this immense cavity (100 by 30 meters) and its thousands of stalactites, that he could only admire the flickering light of candles.
