With the complete collapse in tourism the market for hire cars evaporated virtually overnight. Large numbers of vehicles are parked in a high density layout in car parks all around Dublin Airport.
My first meeting with the bafflingly numbered 185s in the 119 series (EVN 91 76 0119 004-9) registered in Norway but seen across Germany. Here's 119004 stabled at Ulm . It's 185 number is 623 but not carried even though on hire the Rhein Cargo.
Apparently, it won't be 68's for Wales after all.
I'd long suspected that there weren't enough to go round. Twelve is it for TPX? Another half dozen on Chiltern, two in Scotland. That's twenty hired out before DRS even look at their own schedules.
It would seem that when the mk4 stock is delivered, we will be retaining class 67 haulage in the principality. So, the next question has to be how many will be painted in TfW colours? And the follow on question is will we ever see them in Wales?
I can't remember the last time I saw one of the blue trio down our way...

To date, locals seem divided re; the possible detrimental effects on waterborne wildlife. So far, personally, I'm still undecided. However, it will be very interesting to see the reactions of the large male swan (cob) whose mate is currently nesting on one of the lake's little islands. The closer it gets to hatching time, the more protective/aggressive he naturally becomes.

First Appearance - Batman Special #1 (1984)
The Wrath's parents were a couple of burglars, similar to Joe Chill. They were shot by a young policeman who mistook them for committing a robbery (in actuality, they were crawling out of a window to "skip out" on paying their rent). Due to this, the Wrath dedicated his life to a campaign of revenge against law and law-enforcers. As he had grown up, the burglars' son became a professional assassin. For years, he traveled the world to work as a gun for hire.
When the Wrath finally returns to Gotham City, he comes to kill the man who had shot his parents. The Wrath's target turns out to be James Gordon, commissioner of the Gotham City Police and an ally of Batman. Thus, a clash with Batman becomes inevitable.

I've been out of work for a while, and I'm not real sure what I want to do next, career-wise. Wednesday morning I had an interview, and it looks somewhat promising. Whether I get the position or not, at least I was able to meet some interesting people and learn about a new company. It was a very positive experience!
BTW, one of my weird traits: I LOVE to go on job interviews!
