This pic was taken in the village in front of Buxa Fort. Buxa Fort is (in)famous because Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was said to have been imprisoned here for some time
Subhas Chandra Bose: 23 January 1897 – 18 August 1945 (aged 48) was an Indian nationalist whose defiant patriotism made him a hero in India, but whose attempt during World War II to rid India of British rule with the help of Nazi Germany and Japan left a troubled legacy. The honorific Netaji (Hindustani language: "Respected Leader"), first applied to Bose in Germany, by the Indian soldiers of the Indische Legion and by the German and Indian officials in the Special Bureau for India in Berlin, in early 1942, is now used widely throughout India.
Earlier, Bose had been a leader of the younger, radical, wing of the Indian National Congress in the late 1920s and 1930s, rising to become Congress President in 1938 and 1939. However, he was ousted from Congress leadership positions in 1939 following differences with Mohandas K. Gandhi and the Congress high command. He was subsequently placed under house arrest by the British before escaping from India in 1940

“Be like water making its way through cracks. Do not be assertive, but adjust to the object, and you shall find a way around or through it. If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves.
Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.”

It was a cold, windy evening. One needs to walk around 1 km from the tent to reach Tsomoriri lake. I was tired, breathless. I sat down .Three of my friends kept walking towards the Tsomoriri lake. When I looked up after two three minutes I saw this beautiful silhouettes.
Tsomoriri or Lake Moriri (official name: Tsomoriri Wetland Conservation Reserve, Tibetan: ལྷ་མོའི་བླ་མཚོ, Wylie: lha mo bla mtsho), is a lake in the Changthang (literally: northern plains) area in Jammu and Kashmir. The lake is at an altitude of 4,595 m (15,075 ft); it is the largest of the high altitude lakes in the Trans-Himalayan biogeographic region, entirely within India. The lake sits between Ladakh, India to the North, Tibet to the east, and Zanskar in the west.
The lake is fed by springs and snow-melt from mountains on the Changthang plateau. Water enters the lake in two major stream systems, one entering the lake from the north, the other from the southwest. Both stream systems create extensive marshes where they enter the lake. It formerly had an outlet to the south, but this has become blocked and the lake has become land locked. As a result, the water is now becoming saline.[citation needed]
The lake is oligotrophic in nature, and its waters are alkaline.
Accessibility to the lake is limited to summer season only. Source- Wiki
You need to have a permit to enter the Tsomoriri Wetland. You can get the permission from Leh.
