During our thrilling helicopter flight from Kathmandu to Mount Everest Base Camp, I had the incredible opportunity to capture breathtaking photos of the Himalayas. From the aerial perspective, I witnessed the mesmerizing beauty of the world's highest mountain and the entire Himalaya mountain range. One of our stops along the way was Dudh Pokhari, also known as "The Milky Pond of Nepal." This particular picture was taken shortly after takeoff from Dudh Pokhari. Also, Dudh Pokhari holds great significance during Janai Purnima, a Hindu festival celebrated in Nepal and certain parts of India. During this occasion, people partake in a ritual bath and change their sacred thread. They receive a fresh thread from a priest, which they tie around their wrist as a symbol of protection and purity. It is believed that visiting Dudh Pokhari during Janai Purnima allows devotees and travelers to cleanse themselves of sins - Dudh Pokhari, Gandaki, Nepal
