Population des petits villages traversés:les Tamangs et les Newars
Les Tamangs forment l'un des nombreux groupes ethniques du Népal. Ils vivent surtout au nord et à l'est de Katmandou principalement dans le Ganesh Himal. Leur culture est très proche des cultures tibétaine et sherpa.
Les Newars les premiers habitants de la vallée de Katmandou au Népal. Ils parlent le néwar, , une langue tonale asiatique du groupe tibéto-birman de la famille des langues sino-tibétaines.
Les Newars sont environ 1,2 million d'habitants. Ils sont majoritairement agriculteurs, commerçants et artisans

The Nepal Himalaya Pavilion was set up at the Expo 2000 in Hanover. At the end of the exhibition the producer Heribert Wirth bought for him and let him build faithfully in the oberpfälzischen Wiesent (Bavaria).

Trisul - The Himalayan Peak
Trisul is a group of three Himalayan mountain peaks of western Kumaun, with the highest (Trisul I) reaching 7120m. The three peaks resemble a trident - in Hindi/Sanskrit, Trishula, trident, is the weapon of Lord Shiva. The Trishul group forms the southwest corner of the ring of peaks enclosing the Nanda Devi Sanctuary, about 15 kilometres (9 mi) west-southwest of Nanda Devi itself. The main peak, Trisul I, was the first peak over 7,000 m (22,970 ft) to have ever been climbed, in 1907.

Trisul I
T. G. Longstaff made the first climbing reconnaissance of Trisul, in September 1905, focussing on the western and southern sides. He returned in 1907 with two other Britons, three Alpine guides, and a number of Gurkhas. They ascended through the Rishiganga valley, to the north of the peak, onto the Trisul Glacier, which lies on the east side. From there they climbed the northeast flank to the north ridge, reaching the summit on 12 June. At the time Trisul was probably the highest mountain to have been climbed.The climb was noted also for the first use of supplementary oxygen in a major climb. During the 1950s Harold Williams led Indian Army expeditions to the summit.
Routes on the west face and south ridge of Trisul I have also been climbed. The west face was first ascended in 1976; this was the first ascent of the main summit not using the first-ascent route.
Trisul II and III
Trisul II and Trisul III were first climbed in 1960 by the Yugoslav team JAHO I (sl). They climbed from the Bidalgwar glacier, achieving the summit of Trisul II via the southern ridge and Trisul III via the north ridge.

sunrise @ Himalaya - captured on 30th December, 2018 , Kausani, Uttarakhand is famous for Himalaya Darshan. Its a hill station and Village situated in Bageshwar district in the state of Uttarakhand, India. It is famous for its scenic splendour and its spectacular 300 km-wide panoramic view of Himalayan peaks like Trisul, Nanda Devi and Panchchuli.

So I'm back. My expedition under the highest mountain in the world - Mt. Everest in Nepal ended. My biggest dream came true .
Here you can see the splendid peak of Mt. Ama Dablam • 6.812 m ( 22349 ft ). It is known as one of the most beautiful mountains in the World, not for it´s altitude, but for it´s beauty and aesthetics.

Tech bits -
35mm slide film, x4 different scan exposures blended together to pull up details in the shadows. Infra Red pass to help remove scratches. Original slide was heavily contaminated. Scanner colour profile was created by scanning a calibrated image. This helps in obtaining accurate colours. Output is 3600dpi, scanned to a 48 bit ProPhoto RBG Tiff file for maximum colour range. The file is then reduced by 1/2 size to help sharpening and keep file sizes to a manageable level - around 25Mb.
