I found this gate in town somewhere. It was some time ago and I doubt I could find it again now. I had never seen a figure on a garden gate before.

Used a bit of colour treatment on it

A view of Mobius arch and Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains from the arch trail in the Alabama Hills.

The colored rock, found throughout Alabama Hills in the form of spherical, egg-shape, teardrop, or even as an arch, is biotite monzogranite. What’s monzogranite? It’s the final form (or fractionation) of molten rock called magma. In Alabama Hills, this rock gets its smooth, spherical appearance because it’s been weathered in uniquely even patterns since it first formed around 85 million years ago.

For those of us this will always be Hovis Hill as it was portrayed in a Hovis advert of 1973. A big hill to push a bike up but the ride home was fantastic and fast.
